i would agree with some of the cons, but it is one of the best places , on a budget that i have stayed at in all of southeast Asia. Other rooms i have stayed at , in Vietnam, and other cities in Cambodia, have the same problems with noise, dampness, bugs, and smells. I only paid $15.u.s. for my... More

Stayed here four nights in double fan room, hot water. Room was ultra clean as was hotel. Pool was a bit mirky and hot, with several people complaining of burning eyes, but only on one day. Roof terrace is excellent, airy, a great view and can phone down for food and drinks. Well worth the money compared to other aging... More

This hotel looks the part - spacious reception area, welcoming staff, good location and a swimming pool. Unfortunately the experience I had there left much to be desired: The small room I had was tidy but not clean and the cleaning staff are noisy from early in the morning. There was hot water but only in the evenings. The reception... More

Firstly There is no rooftop cafe. You can take your food from the cafe downstairs and carry it up there. It's not the same thing. Our room was on the fifth floor but the elevator only went to the fourth and you have to carry your bags the rest of the way. When we stayed away for the night the... More

Battambang has some good value accommodation, of which Seng Hout is a great choice right in the centre of the action. Many different rooms $10-20, some with semi-private terraces. Has a nice small pool and a great roof terrace affording marvellous views of the city. Pros: Most rooms have safe and kettle Free water bottles daily Proper cable TV with... More

Stayed on the 5th floor which was peaceful, nice room though could have done with a bit of de-cobwebbing and de-anting! Reception/restaurant staff lovely. Shame breakfast wasn't included, but one of their omelet breakfasts between us was fine! Didn't use the pool but watching the local kids was a joy. Did enjoy the roof terrace though. although I did have... More

A very nice place, well located. $20 got me a nice sized room with A/C on the 4th floor. Came with fridge and safe. The cafe downstairs is convenient, nice and reasonably priced. The staff is positively giggly friendly and courteous. One of the tuk tuk drivers loosely associated with the hotel is named Saru. I used him to take... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and I can't speak highly enough of the staff, who were friendly and extremely helpful at all times. We thought it was very reasonably priced for the quality of service provided, which included a free pick up from bus station , The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. we very happy... More

I stayed here with my husband and our 20 year old daughter for 2 nights. 100 meters from the market. short walk to good restaurants and riverside and night market. The room was comfortable and spacious with good air conditioning, phone, tv with cable chanels. The bathroom was a typical asian bathroom set up with toilet next to shower, so... More

I chose this hotel because of its central location. The front desk staff are all very friendly and they wear a smile all the time. There is a water cooler on the ground floor and I can refill my bottle any time, which is great. The only thing that disappointed me is that there is no hairdryer for us to... More
