If you go to Battambang the Seng Hout Hotel is really a nice place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful, it is nice and clean and the bed extra comfy and clean. Very close to market and great eating places. Prices fantastic. Cafe at thatched serve delicious coffee and food very well priced.

I stayed here for work and thought it was fine. The place is generally clean, has good enough internet (works better by the stairwell), and AC. It also has a nice rooftop patio. Price is right at $18. I had previously stayed at another hotel (also has Seng in the title) and thought it was nicer. Price was just a... More

Hotel offers free pick up or drop of at bus station I opted for the drop off the hotel Tuk-tuk driver dropped me off at local bus station so had to get another tuk-tuk out to main station I don't believe the hotel was aware of this. Hotel is reasonably priced has an elevator I had a large and spacious... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. Staff were good giving us the option of rooms after we saw them. Bed was comfortable and huge! Air con worked fine, great choice TV channels. The front desk were amazing in organising tuk tuk drivers and tours and advice when on day tours. Every day they arranged a free packed lunch with fruit and... More

i would agree with some of the cons, but it is one of the best places , on a budget that i have stayed at in all of southeast Asia. Other rooms i have stayed at , in Vietnam, and other cities in Cambodia, have the same problems with noise, dampness, bugs, and smells. I only paid $15.u.s. for my... More

Stayed here four nights in double fan room, hot water. Room was ultra clean as was hotel. Pool was a bit mirky and hot, with several people complaining of burning eyes, but only on one day. Roof terrace is excellent, airy, a great view and can phone down for food and drinks. Well worth the money compared to other aging... More

This hotel looks the part - spacious reception area, welcoming staff, good location and a swimming pool. Unfortunately the experience I had there left much to be desired: The small room I had was tidy but not clean and the cleaning staff are noisy from early in the morning. There was hot water but only in the evenings. The reception... More

Firstly There is no rooftop cafe. You can take your food from the cafe downstairs and carry it up there. It's not the same thing. Our room was on the fifth floor but the elevator only went to the fourth and you have to carry your bags the rest of the way. When we stayed away for the night the... More

Battambang has some good value accommodation, of which Seng Hout is a great choice right in the centre of the action. Many different rooms $10-20, some with semi-private terraces. Has a nice small pool and a great roof terrace affording marvellous views of the city. Pros: Most rooms have safe and kettle Free water bottles daily Proper cable TV with... More

Stayed on the 5th floor which was peaceful, nice room though could have done with a bit of de-cobwebbing and de-anting! Reception/restaurant staff lovely. Shame breakfast wasn't included, but one of their omelet breakfasts between us was fine! Didn't use the pool but watching the local kids was a joy. Did enjoy the roof terrace though. although I did have... More
