We stayed in Star Hotel this august 2008 for a couple of nights. The staff is very nice and rooms are clean and comfortable. We were handed a leaflet for the Star Hotel whilst boarding the boat from Siem Riep to Battambang (which, incidentally, takes 8 hours during low-water season not 6 as the guides say). We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, it is quite new , very clean has all the things you would expect. A roof top resteraunt, nice food. A good base to explore battambang. more
