A nice hotel with no significant problems. Our room was pleasant and quiet. The bathroom worked satisfactorily and even the WiFi about as good as one can expect in Burma, but still not good enough to listen to the radio. The breakfast was surprisingly good in a pleasant restaurant area on the first floor. The staff were friendly and helpful.... More

We travelled from Bagan specifically for a photographic opportunity and found the Paradise Hotel very convenient for the jetty for the boats taking visitors onto the Lake, only around 10 minutes walk, as well as the market, main street and many restaurants in the town. If you are a photographer the area is awash with opportunities. The hotel, for Myanmar,is... More

I stayed just one night in a room in the main building. The staff was great during the entire stay. They gave us the room at 6.00 AM when we arrived by bus from Bagan. Check in is at 12.00 but they had a room and they gave the room right away. The room was a perfect room for a... More

This was a great hotel for our young family. We stayed in one of their cottages for two nights and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Close to great restaurants and walking distance or a quick ride to the water to catch a boat. The staff were very kind and playful with our boys (5yrs) and (3yrs). Breakfast was great!

This is a fine hotel that you can compare with good hotels in the west. Everything you need is there incusive a nice porch. The hotel is very close to a lot of restaurants and and bycicle rentals. There is a bank in the city with a working ATM. Breakfast is ok and the staff is very helpfull. Wifi is... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and we were impressed with the quality of the hotel. All accommodation was in little villas, each with a little terrace, undercover with table and chairs. Our villa was right next to the reception area and closest to the road but never once were we trouble from local traffic or traffic... More

Hotel is well located just north of the market and within walking distance of restaurants and the boat jetty. Our room was spacious with basic amenities. There was a large veranda, which was a perfect place to relax after a long day. Only complaint would be that our's was closest to the road making it a little noisy.

We always book a bungalow when visiting Paradide Hotel and tremendously enjoy our stay. The rooms are large, clean with a comfortable shower with hot water 24 hours. Equipped with fridge, kettle, hairdryer and tioiletries. Loved sitting on the veranda catching up on news abroad on our iPads via wifi. The location is great, within walking distance to the market,... More

This may be expensive but I could not fault it. Quite at last away from traffic noise unlike so many hotels I stayed in. No problem with the neighbours noise. Bottled water, kettle, toiletries and hairdryer all supplied, and small fruitbowl. Good breakfast, Very attentive staff. Clean and well maintained. Good management/owners. Reception speak good english. Many foreigners visit. Expensive... More

The location is very central. The staff is friendly and tries very hard to accomodate clients' needs. However, if you are sensitive to noise, there is a concern. Basically, you can either sleep in the bungalows. The thing is the bungalows are connected one to another. So at night when somebody wakes up, the wood starts cracking and you also... More
