I was on a mission to stay at a cheap place in NyaungShwe (not an easy mission in NyaungShwe). I looked up 10 places that were supposed to be cheap on wiki triip, and cycled past all of them to check their prices. This place (and this place only) was - by far - the cheapest. This also means that... More

We had a terrible stay. Our bed was filled with dead and alive ants. When we told the owner she was rude and didnt want to take the time to help us or gir us a discount. She told us many times she had no time to help us. This was by far our worst stay in myanmar. They even... More

It is kind of hard to review hotels in Myanmar by the same standard as everywhere else. By any other standards this would be 1-2 stars. For Myanmar, for the price, I would say 3-4. It seems generally that the hotels in this town are nicer than the average for Myanmar, but they also are a lot pricier. 4 sisters'... More

Not even prisioners have to live in such squalor. It was the lowlight of our 12 week holiday. The beds was riddled with bed bugs. They told me they had hot water, they didn't. I actually felt dirtier coming out of the shower than when I went in. We only stayed in the room because my boyfriend was violently ill... More

The family who run this homey guesthouse are warm and welcoming and went out of their way to help me out. I stayed in the dorm style beds upstairs in the family house. Facilities were basic but I had a mosquito net and the bedding was clean. Breakfast was included- standard toast and eggs, pancakes and bananas. I had left... More

Four Sisters Inn is about a 5-10 minute walk from the main road in Nyaung Shwe, which I really liked. It was in a quieter part of town and the walk was fine, even at night or in the pouring rain. We went during low season, but found the Inn very hospitable and the family that owns/runs it was very... More

Stayed at Four sisters in May 2013. We arrived in the town at about 3.30am by bus and expectantly nothing was open- we knocked on their gate and the neighbours awoke. They were so lovely, we were very apologetic as it was early and they had been rudely awaken by us, they were extremely hospitable and patient. They called the... More

It's a little difficult to describe an honnest review about the Four Sisters. On one hand it's a nice building with a garden. The moderate rooms are clean, but have some atmosphere. On the other hand the service changes continuously. On little things they responded quickly but resolving power and water failures they anticipated very poor. We had two hole... More

Our stay at Four Sisters' was one of the highlights of our stay in Myanmar. And it's not only because of its privileged position by the river bank or its clean rooms. Above all, it was about the very welcoming hosts, four Burmese sisters that did all they could to make our stay as relaxed and cozy as possible. Just... More

The hotel is family run and the manager is very friendly and helpful, if always trying to upsell services..... that said she seemed to be offering reasonable value on everything. She speaks self-taught English but some of the rest of the staff speak little English. The hotel is a small and basic budget hotel. Hot water is only available sometimes.... More
