We stayed here as 3 19yr old female backpackers for 4 nights in May '13. We paid $30 for the room, non AC, Breakfast included. Free but slow wifi. Room - We stayed in 3B on the ground floor with two single beds and a camp bed. All very clean and comfortable, nice crisp sheets. No bugs. Good screens on... More

This was the perfect place in town for us, even though it was the most expensive room we stayed in Myanmar at $40 a night (as we chose the new section of the hotel with the big aircon rooms). There are cheaper fan rooms in the old section. The staff was great, the breakfast was fantastic (pancakes, eggs, fruit, and... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and the staff could have not been more happy and polite. We were greeted every time we passed them & asked if we needed anything from them. The rooms were big and spacious and it was the BEST breakfast we has in the whole of Myanmar. A huge 3 course breakfast with juice/coffee, pancakes,... More

my wife and i stayed in the second floor of the old building. It was a comfortable stay and the rate was lower than in the new building. The room that we got was huge. It was clean. The decor was simple, but together with the hard wood floors, they give ambiance to the room. Wifi signal in the room... More

the stay was horrible. i will never recommend anyone to stay here, not even in their "new wing". was made to pay $30 a night in a shabby room in the old wing, the worst room we've ever stayed in the entire myanmar trip. i'm usually not particular, i've stayed in poor condition huts in other parts of asia. but... Much has been said and it's all true. Old rooms still very good value, breakfasts are fantastic and the best way to start a day, wifi exists but is slow, the lady who speaks English is always so helpful no matter how many times she is hunted down by the other employees. Wanted to add, If the hotel is out... More

Stayed in the old building which has lower rates. We had a superior room that was huge (25 usd). Very friendly staff, helpful booking all kinds of onwards travel and a special tour to Kakku. Good breakfast.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. Very friendly and helpful staff both at reception and breakfast. We stayed in a suite in the new section and had a great big corner room. Again the room was very clean and comfortable. Nice location in the town and a short walk from the day and night market (the noodles... More

We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms in the new building for two nights in February. The room was the biggest and best of our three week trip through the country - bright and spacious with seating area inside and outside on a little terrace. The room was $50 but everywhere in Myanmar is expensive compared to elsewhere in... More
