Staff could not be more helpful. They will shower you with kindness and make your arrangements to tour the lake. Our first room (standard) was sort of drab, but we happily were willing to pay $30 extra for one of the rooms overlooking the pool which was well worth it - enormous and with a lovely balcony. The pool is... More

We had a single night there and it was fine but some of the rooms well ours at least were quite hostel like, not like the photos as our room wasn't next to the pool. If booking I'd suggest asking for a room next to the pool rather than where we got as I wouldn't stay in that room again.... More

Dear Thank you for the review. We have two different building. Junior suite building and original building . “Junior suite building is for junior suite room only” and the room is with pool view and the pool is just in front of the room. Original building is for standard room , standard with bath tub room and family room. The... More

If, surrounded by all this water you should not swim in, you're feeling sticky after trekking or a boat ride in the sun, it is just lovely to take a quick shower and dive into the very well maintained pool at Mingalar Inn. The hotel has done a lot of building and renovation recently. We loved the manager & staff... More

I stayed with two friends at Mingalar Inna and they couldn't do enough for us. We were just two people when we made the booking but they were unfazed when we turned up needing an extra bed (although prior warning via the contact info we had didn't get answered). We stayed in the hostel and it was a very sweet... More

Very helpful managers and reception staff - and at breakfast. Lots of oddities though- there is one central reception and then a hostel to the left and a small hotel to the right. And ne'er the twain will meet. I stayed in the hotel side- partly because there is a swimming pool although it turned to be too cold to... More

The room I stayed is actually the ""Junior Suite" which price is higher than normal ones, but room is very spacious, with unblocked swimming pool view, and decoration in the room is very nice, with realistic bamboo inside. This hotel is like running by a family 'cos all receptionists look like relatives. One of the receptionists who always has a... More

Dear chaun, Thank you for the review . The notice letter appear because of some people don’t do the right thing. You may think using the pool with sun cream on is OK . We don’t thing is not a good thing for the pool. And other one thing is we have different room type and different price. Service and... More

Was a great hotel. Good location. Good price. Best breakfast. Staff was amazing. Clean room. Cute rental bikes. I had to go on a quick hospital trip after a spider bite. Manager got his employee to rip me there on a scooter. Stay there while I got a couple shots They were so kind and helpful. Honestly concerned about the... More

The stay here was good. It's comfortable and clean but not new. Service great, food great. Can walk all around the town from here. They organised tour on the lake for us which was excellent. It wasn't hot enough to swim in the pool, but it looked good and clean

All hotels in my Myanmar offer very poor value for money and the Minghella Inn is no exception. However the exceptional standard of service from the owners and staff at this hotel really makes this a place to recommend. Our junior suites had private sun loungers easy access to the very pleasant swimming pool and came with a superb almost... More

This is the fourth hotel I've stayed in at Inle Lake and the best so far. The rooms in the old part of the building are well lit (at the front), new bathrooms with too hot water (luxury), the pool was too cold for use in winter, and the breakfast plentiful. What we really appreciated was the complementary lime juice... More
