ViewPoint Lodge and Fine Cuisines is a great hotel in Inle Lake. It was built above the river and provides a great view of the place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. In our first night there the barman helped us a lot with a good explanation and tips about "must-visit" places around the city. The location is perfect!... More

went there in low season and it's a super good deal. very nice deco and the pond is awesome. That gives you a feel of the lake but you don't have to stay in the middle of nowhere (which is where most of the other upmarket resorts at the lake is like) The breakfast is awesome too! I tried the... More

Nyaungshwe, at the northern end of Inle Lake, is a sleepy little town with lots of personality. Walk the unpaved road at night and you find interesting little cafes and shops. The day market is clearly not touristy and very neat to walk around. Right on a private canal at the end of the main road and over a scary... More

We loved Inle lake....its surrounded by big tropical canal, nice local people and the simple life of the local that made us feel relax. The hotel is very nice, small boutique hotels with all facilities you will need. We love our bed with the mosquito net hanging down the ceiling and the minibar which is made of wood and we... More

This hotel locates at northern Inle lake and has a very beautiful environment. It is very easy to rent a boat near the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel is nice, and the free breakfast for guests is delicious. Overall it has been a very enjoyable stay and I think it worth every dollar LOL. Actually I think it's the... I was unsure if to stay on the lake or in the village. At Viewpoint you get both lake and town feel. It's convenient to town centre and boat hire. Of day I can hire bikes close by to explore the area. Bikes can be taken on boats. Of a night amble down to restaurants. The rooms are generous relaxing... More

45 mins from Heho, on the canal leading into Inle lake. The food is great, the wine excellent. The hotel will arrange the boat ride for you which is an absolute must. On the Sunday morning we walked across the bridge to the local market. A mixture of foods, old bits and bobs... Enough to fill the Sunday morning before... More

This was undoubtedly the best dining experience we had in Myanmar. Excellent service, suberb food in a wonderful setting, beside the river and over looking the town. It is without doubt more expensive than most restaurants but well worth it. I would thoroughly recommend Viewpoint.
