We really enjoyed the resort - peaceful, great staff and a really good spa which was excellent value. A good base to visit Inle Lake and gain an insight into the area. Perfect to round off a very busy holiday.

Wow! The whole location has the wow factor, then as you get closer to the hotel engine off, leg rower takes over, all you hear is the paddle in the water. Then another wow! The hotel it's simply stunning. The grounds are beautiful and the views out of this world. Your room, a little villa/ chalet all teak, unique furnishings,... More

we stayed here for two blissful nights. It was a highlight of a brilliant trip..the position of the hotel is fabulous, off to the side of the lake, so away from the hustle and bustle, enabling you to enjoy the full beauty of the lake and its wildlife. We understand that hotel has a good environmental policy (always more to... More

We arrived by boat , the last 100 meters they are not allowed to use their engine , to keep the quietness of the hotel. Very nice rooms , very spacious , with a view on the lake. You can sit outside with lake view (and mosquitos). Great breakfast , very nice restaurant. Very helpful staff (in the restaurant there... More

Stunning hotel accessible by boat or by road , Well designed traditionally styled Burmese bungalows in lakeside or garden setting. We booked a room with an outdoor shower, and got a lakeside room with a balcony overlooking the lake . beautifully appointed room with comfortable bed. Pillows never very comfortable anywhere in Burma . There is a charming bar in... More

If you are tired of the intensive urban life and want to escape the civilization routine and city noise Inle lake is your right choice. This lake located in the mountains will plunge you into the world of solitude and silence, from time to time broken by boat motor noise. The lake is immense, far away at the horizon you... More

The design and location of the hotel are beautiful, and the attention to many small details is fantastic, from flowers on the bed when we arrived to the provision of binoculars and bird book, and even a parting "gift" of a local style bag. The service was great: tickets for an onward overnight bus journey were arranged for us, and... More

Inle lake is one of these unique places that is hard to find anywhere. And the Inle princess resort is a perfect hotel to experience it. We stayed here for two nights in July 2014. Our ride to the hotel was in a wooden motorized boat and it took about 20 minutes to get here from the station. Our luggage... More

Not that we were on honeymoon as I was travelling with my daughter! A beautiful resort with each bedroom in its own discreet chalet in the local style with lots of character. Ours had a big verandah overlooking the lake - just lovely in the morning (binoculars helpfully provided for bird watching) and at sunset. Just make sure you wear... More

In the midst of a strenuous, hectic journey we came to rest at the Inle Princess and were so enchanted that we cancelled the reservations at our next stop and "eddied out" here for a completely restorative sojourn. We loved the peaceful setting, our charming cabin, the sweet staff, the food - particularly the baked goods at breakfast - the... More
