We have just come back from a three night stay at the Inle Pricess Resort and it was the highlight of our trip to Myanmar. The room (Lake view) was incredible, the restaurant fantastic (especially for vegetarians!) and the service was brilliant. The hotel offers a great boat trip around the lake and places of interest - worth doing. Cracking... More

This was our third stay at Inle Princess Resort and again, we found everything, location, rooms, restaurant wonderful, but above all the people, always smiling and ready to make your stay a very pleasant one. Some of them speak even a bit German or Spanish. The food was excellent, like the homemade cereals, Shan special salads (banana flower), curries and... More

This hotel is a good one after western standards. But the setting is incredible beautiful. It's breathtaking. Having breakfast while looking directly to a heavenly place...it was the most quiet breakfast I've ever have in my life. Almost none of the quests talked. Everybody was just eating and looking. The chalets of the hotel are cosy, with beautiful bathrooms and... More

We spent 4 nights here earlier this year and there's no doubt Inle Princess has an unbeatable setting on the east side of the lake with magical sunsets. However, having been advised to book one of the coveted (and expensive) lakeside chalets, we were less than impressed with the room itself which was dark, had a very basic bathroom and... More

The minute I saw this hotel I had one major complaint: I was only staying two nights. I loved it -- from the isolated location that requires all boats to turn off their motors and for the resident leg rower to take us in the rest of the way -- to the outdoor shower to the breakfast with its homemade... We really enjoyed the resort - peaceful, great staff and a really good spa which was excellent value. A good base to visit Inle Lake and gain an insight into the area. Perfect to round off a very busy holiday.

Wow! The whole location has the wow factor, then as you get closer to the hotel engine off, leg rower takes over, all you hear is the paddle in the water. Then another wow! The hotel it's simply stunning. The grounds are beautiful and the views out of this world. Your room, a little villa/ chalet all teak, unique furnishings,... More

we stayed here for two blissful nights. It was a highlight of a brilliant trip..the position of the hotel is fabulous, off to the side of the lake, so away from the hustle and bustle, enabling you to enjoy the full beauty of the lake and its wildlife. We understand that hotel has a good environmental policy (always more to... More

We arrived by boat , the last 100 meters they are not allowed to use their engine , to keep the quietness of the hotel. Very nice rooms , very spacious , with a view on the lake. You can sit outside with lake view (and mosquitos). Great breakfast , very nice restaurant. Very helpful staff (in the restaurant there... More

Stunning hotel accessible by boat or by road , Well designed traditionally styled Burmese bungalows in lakeside or garden setting. We booked a room with an outdoor shower, and got a lakeside room with a balcony overlooking the lake . beautifully appointed room with comfortable bed. Pillows never very comfortable anywhere in Burma . There is a charming bar in... More
