The hotel was lovely the biggest problem in the rooms was the open fires they have in there for your use they do tend to make the room smell not unpleasant but smokey, the restaurant though was excellent in the evening but not ready in the morning for early leavers even though they say the restaurant is open at 06.00am... This hotel is made to give an feeling of living in a village on the lake. The feeling is incredible. It is quality down to every tiny detail, from architecture to food, staff, environment, and the peaceful setting. Only sounds from birds and frogs, the motorboats have to shut down the motor and a rower jumped onboard 300 meters from... More

You arrive to the hotel on a boat and to make sure they retain the peacefulness the engine is shut off several yards before the hotel and you get to see the unique way the locals row their boats. The hotel is in good condition and rooms feel a bit like mini log cabins. SO quiet here that it is... More

This hotel was clearly well established. The staff knew exactly what they were doing and looked after everybody very well. The hotel was beautifully situated and probably the most convenient. The rooms were large and airy. They were very tastefully decorated. One could have a fire if one wanted. The whole complex was very tranquil and restful. We thought the... More

Wow what an amazing hotel! Regrettably we only stayed one night here for a treat. Upon arrival towards the hotel and to maintain the tranquility of the area a staff member jumps on board and 'leg rows' the boat to the jetty and where we were then escorted to reception for a seamless checkin. We booked a lake view room... More

We spent some really resting time in this hotel. The scenery was amazing. The hotel is in a 'reserved' area so no longtail boats engine noise. The breakfast buffet is served on the terrace restaurant. The food was tasty, you should try the banana bud braised pork !

The hotel is a big resort consisting of individual villas. Other than many Inle lake hotels the villas are not on the lake, but at the lake and I would recommend getting one with direct lake view (some only have view to a small pond within the hotel). The villas are very spacious, nicely decorated and have small terrace. It... More

We had 3 nights at Inle princess resort and were not disappointed, we were slightly concerned when we were given them nearest lodge to the bar and restaurant but happily this didn't impact on our enjoyment, we did get wifi in our room as a consequence. The complex is beautifully designed and the rooms huge and very comfortable, a fire... More

If you want to experience tranquil, rustic, luxurious accommodations in a beautiful lake setting, this is for you! I would return just for this place! We had an outdoor river rock and slate dhower, an indoor shower also in a spacious teak and bamboo cottage overlooking the lake, the facial was heavenly and inexpensive. The food was great. Breakfast served... More

We stayed at the Inle Princess Resort for the past 3 days as part of our continuing tour of Myanmar. In my humble opinion as a seasoned traveller, The Inle Princess is is NOT a 3 star resort, and the fact that it carries this rating highlights how misleading hotel stars can be sometimes. No it doesn't have TV in... More
