First, if you booked in this hotel you have to know its real name which is "Sky Lake Inle Resort". We visited 3 other hotels before going to the right one, the boat drivers didn't know it with our booking name... The hotel itself is as expected, fully on stilts with a friendly staff. We booked a room with lake... More

It's about a 35 minute boat ride from the Hupin Boat Jetting to the hotel. Your indication that you are approaching the hotel are the two leg rowing fishermen that pose for the most classic pictures of Inle Lake. We were welcomed by cold towels and a cool glass of fruit juice. We stayed at a lake front bungalow. The... More

We spent a few nights at this hotel as part of a tour around Burma. We loved Inle Lake anyway but this hotel really made it - accessible only from the lake it was in a super location. From our room's balcony we were able to watch sunset and sunrise. Breakfast was nice although dinner was slightly boring on the... More

This was the first hotel we stayed at in Burma and it was an amazing way to start our trip. You have to get a boat to the hotel which is very cool and we were greeted by a very sweet older member of staff on reception who told us all about the hotel and the trips we could do.... More

I was willing to spend a little extra for a great memory, but ended up feeling like I was taken for a ride. The Christmas Gala was an terribly overpriced event where some I was charged 75USD and another guest 90USD for a buffet that was served late and which could be called, generously, uninspired. The entertainment was a valiant... More

We stayed here for three nights as part of a tour group (11 people). I noticed a couple of other groups also staying here. In the evening there was a buffet for the other groups but we had an a la carte menu. The choice of food was good and the service excellent. We stayed in one of the individual... More

After an exhilerating fast speed boat ride from Hupin Boat Jetting (stopping to photograph the leg rowers) en route to this hotel, to arrive at nearly sunset with a welcoming banging of drums and symbols and a cool freshing towel and a fruit drink, was memorable. The individual large thatched bungalows are built over the lake and accessed by walk... More

Spent 3 nights at this beautiful spot. Each room a stand alone, providing plenty of privacy from other guests. If you stay in series #100 or #400 rooms you'll have your own balcony too. I stayed in #406 and I was able to enjoy the local villagers out in their boats tending their floating gardens in the early morning. Staff... More

Stayed three nights and found it most pleasant and relaxing. Bungalow cabins or huts setting out over the water are very roomy but a little dark at night due to limited interior lighting. Shower in bathroom fixture works well but floor will be slick when wet so don't fail to use flip flops provided (water pressure adequate and very hot... More

Hi, Thank you for your kind review. We are happy to hear you had a pleasant stay. We've taken note of your feedback and are working to add more lighting in the near future.
