We arrived by boat and it all looked just beautiful. Thatched bungalows on stilts on the water, setting was very nice and peaceful. I thought the room was just great, spacious and well-appointed. Was lovely to sit on the balcony and just enjoy the beautiful view, or watch the many fish in the water below. We had dinner in the... More

when we arrived by boat we were surprised by the beauty of the hotel situated secluded at the Lake. We stayed in one of the bungalows at the water wich gave us this beautiful view at the lake. The room was spacious and had a nice bathroom. We had no hot water but that may have been because of the... More

When we arrived here I was wonder-struck... Such a beautiful spot, I had a stilt bungalow right on the water. It was sort of basic, but hey one does not come to Inle Lake to watch tv. Sitting on the private veranda at sunrise and sunset was beautiful. A nice sundowner G&T watching the fishermen going out like they did... More

I always enjoy staying in this hotel. Cottage suites with atmosphere are giving you warm feeling and your body and mind is able to rest here completely. Rooms are modest but you find everything necessary there. I just felt a bit uncomfortable in too spacious bathroom which seemed too empty to me (quite cold feeling). But wide porch in front... More

As others have mentioned, Hupin Khaung Daing is a lovely hotel located right on Inle Lake with beautiful views of the lake. We stayed in the rooms up on the hill, which had a nice porch area with seating. The hotel provides mosquito coils, which came in handy when we were sitting outside enjoying the beauty of Inle Lake. They... More

The Hupin hotel has a great location at the end of a quiet village road. It has its own water front with its own fleet of boats to take you out to Inle Lake. Our trip to Inle Lake and a second to Taunggyi were both organised by the hotel. Both trips went without a hitch. We had rooms overlooking... More

We arrived at this hotel late afternoon by boat and our first impression was wow. Beautiful hotel on the water with cabins on stilts. We had a cabin on stilts and the view is amazing at sunrise. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable compare to what we had before. No wifi in cabin and very slow connection... More

We had a cabin in stilts over the water. The view was great and the meals were good. The only downsides were that Wifi didn't work in the rooms/was very slow in reception and the bed linen was dusty A great experience however in a great location.

Great looking place at first glance. But there is much room for improvement in this hotel. Standard rooms are far below par, and cleanliness not always the best. Internet connection from the rooms is nonexistent, and from the lobby intermittent at best. As there is now more demand than supply it will probably take a long while before it gets... More
