Spent 2 nights here on a tour, we arrived by long boat which has a wow effect as you approach through the lake gates. Large resort with good reception & very large Rest well presented. Some of cottages etc are older & I guess you pay less, we stayed in newer Floating Cottages which was very large modern, a delight.... More

After reading the three prior reviews we tried to cancel our reservations but we too close to the dates. We are glad we stayed there as the service was superb and the food excellent. You must try the Shen traditional dinner-- something not to be missed. Yes, some of the cottages are a long walk to reception and dining, but... More

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our time there. The public areas were quite grand and were in keeping with local culture and the setting of the whole establishment was stunning. However, the fixtures and fittings of the cabin that we stayed in were tired and the bathroom area hardly functioned with a poor shower facility and a very... More

First impressions of the hotel were very positive. The lobby is impressive, the staff welcoming and the bungalows on the lake looked magical with spectacular view over the lake at sunrise and sunset. I stayed in one of the older bungalows on the water. They were tired but perfectly ok for the price paid. The air conditioner /heater was very... More

Never judge a book by it's cover. This is very true for this hotel. The hotel looks beautiful and has a wonderful location right on the lake, but the rest stops there. The wifi was atrocious and most of the time not working. The staff barely understood English, so try to ask for even the most basic of hotel needs... More

Fantastic ! Stayed in the bungalows on stilts surrounded by Inle Lake. The view of the lake was beautiful especially in the early morning. So quite and peaceful. My bungalow needed a bit of TLC but they are building new bungalows so future visitors will have more choice. Breakfast buffet great selection. Other meals were delicious and a good selection.... This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It's right on the Inle Lake. I found the staff very helpful and went out of their way to make it an enjoyable stay. Wifi can only be reached in the reception area. It's not strong. It's worthwhile asking the staff to arrange hot water for cups of coffee in your room while you... More

We stayed here as part of a group tour for three nights. We were fortunate to be allocated an over the water bungalow which was very pleasant but the rooms are well overdue an refurbishment as everything was looking very tired. If you can try for one of the new bungalows . The hotel is an excellent base for the... More

As with so many other places in Myanmar, where prices have run amok once the industry discovered the world's interest in this beautiful country, it's far too expensive. I actually quite liked the room - we had one of the new cottages on stilts, on the water, and although the build quality wasn't 100% it was nice, big and light,... More
