The hotel is located on the west bank of Inle Lake. The view is breathtaking. The deluxe cottages look traditional on the outside but wait until you see the interior. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. You can see the Inle Lake from your room. What I liked most is that the place is so peaceful. It's The... More

My partner and I spent two nights in a new, deluxe cottage, standing on stilts above the lake. Everything worked properly in the room and the picture windows allowed great views of the rising and setting sun. Like elsewhere, noodles was restricted for vegetarians but of reasonable quality. The restaurant was huge but had a small terrace outside. Wifi was present... More

Stayed here as part of a Peregrine tour for about 4 days. Had a water front Bungalow which whilst basic was comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful but WiFi was hopeless very intermittent. Great spot to explore Inle Lakes and surrounds by boat from. All meals we very good

Our group stayed here for 3 night as part of a tour. The rooms are large with poor lighting. Our bathroom's shower was broken so we used the hand held one in the tub. The beds come with a canopy but we had little problem with mosquitoes or other bugs. The groups cabins were the older ones and are in... More

We were booked here by our travel company and of the five hotels we stayed at in Myanmar this was the biggest disappointment. We arrived by boat and were impressed with the facility on approach; however we were taken to a room up the hill away from the water. We did have a view from our room, but the room... More

We were booked in one of the floating cottages facing west so we had a nice view of the lake from our balcony. While the room was nice it needs a lot of maintenance work. Some lights did not work and the showers had very little water. I found the rooms a bit dim and would have preferred it to... More

My family and I loved this hotel/resort! We stayed in the newly constructed floating cottages. They were absolutely amazing! Clean & modern with western amenities. We had no water/shower issues. The bathroom was a suite, the shower was luxurious, we even had jacuzzis. If you stay here, I highly recommend the floating cottages. Make sure to get the new ones.... More

The Hu Pin hotel has a fantastic view of Inle Lake, and has beautiful common areas. I was part of a tour, and we were placed in the 'original' (IE:old) over water bungalows. My bungalow, F1, I don't think had been used in awhile. When I entered, it was very clean, but everything was unplugged. What was, er, unique, was... More

The rooms are unique with a selection either on land or over the water. The on-land rooms are located in low-slung bungalows, each located far enough from the next to offer a sense of privacy. For an extra sense of appeal and intimacy, Hupin offer villas built on stilts that sit on the lake. Very compelliing and exotic. The entire... More

This place was fabulous. We stayed 3 nights in a villa on poles in the water, with a balcony-great to watch the sunsets over the lake. The villas were large (the bathroom could of had better showers as we had to use the shower attachment over the bath). The restaurant was huge & full of character. The staff were friendly.... More
