This Hotel was really a surprise, the view on the rivers flowing under Veliko is amazing and some room share an immediate view on the castle (light show some nights) making this point terrific. The location is good, inside the old town and really close to the center (10 minutes by feet). Only bad point on my side, the whole... More

Great location and views, super breakfast (scrambled eggs option is huge). Half board food was good value and the dinner/breakfast room is on the top floor with super views over the old citadel and river. The rooms are big and clean. However, there is a large but, in that I would insist on having a room on the second floor,... More

We arrived at about 4pm to find there was no parking only public parking! The reception said that they never said that there was parking only public parking which as it was in the middle of a busy tourist area meant forget it. We had booked only hotels that said they had parking due to disability but they were not... More

If you want to stay cheap and central in a decent hotel, then Minotel Rashev is definitely an excellent choice. I stayed in april 2015 and was very pleased with the stay. Nothing fancy but clean, good service and cheap.

Our 3rd stay in VT this hotel is a real find.. great value.. large clean comfortable rooms.. breakfast included. Even has tea making facilities in the room and a small sofa area.. and a wrap around balcony with great views. Friendly helpful staff and the cheapest place we have stayed in yet. Will definitely be back

The hotel was warm and comfortable and the view excellent (we paid extra for a room facing the fortress). The evening meal was good but the breakfast was awful. The room was a good size and the bed ok but the bathroom smelt badly of drains and we could hear every word from the couple arguing in the next room... More

I have staid at Minotel Rashev during this week-end and we have had a great time there. I was lucky to be given room (suite) B, which was very nice, overlooking the citadel.Ţareveţ was gogeously lighted and we could see it from our balcony, looking like it has been on fire. The room was spacious, very clean and confortable. Also... More

I had expected this hotel to be special given the reviews I had read. The staff were friendly and I was given room 'B' which was clean, spacious and had a balcony with extensive views over the gorge and fortress. The furnishings were dated and the bathroom needs renovating. The sink and shower were slow to drain. Breakfast was basic... More

I have seen the two very much undeserved poor reviews of this hotel and can only say that this is my ideal sort of independent little hotel, with all its little quirks and foibles which make it all the more appealing and memorable. This is not New York of Paris, and this is not the Georges V (if that's what... More
