Firstly, I've seen many reviews of the restaurant that is located within the premises of the hotel and which does apparently not belong to the hotel management. So diregard any restaurant reviews when looking for information regarding this hotel. Overall nice hotel in a good location, lovely sea view, clean, okay breakfast. Wouldn't call it boutiqe as far as room... More

The hotel is in a convenient part of the island for the amphitheater, the beach and the bars. We had the breakfast one morning (very good croissants, nightmarish diluting juice). You don’t get your breakfast in the adjoining restaurant, instead they send you to the basement. One bit of advice for the hotel that would improve the experience would be... More

We stopped at the St. Stefan restaurant after 5 hours of sightseeing and shopping in Old Nessebar for a coffee before getting back to our ship . Once we had finished our coffee , I went inside the restaurant to use the bathroom and pay the bill . While my wife was waiting , a waiter went at our table... More

The breakfast was very poor, was served in a small room in the basement without windows. The hotel does not have elevator. The room was cleaned every day, we have free wi-fi available in the rooms, free parking. The hotel is connected to Nessebar Harbour through the stairs. The Church of St. Stephen is just a five metres away.

We drove to Nesebar, the instructions were somewhat vague as old town is limited for traffic. We resolved it by walking to the hotel while the other waited with the car. A staff member walked back and guided us to the hotel, to unload our luggage and then drove of in our rental... we did not see it again until... More

A wonderful find, in Old Nessebar. The first trick was to navigate the security gates to the Old Town with our car, and a member of staff came to meet us at the gates and helped us through to the hotel (very tiny streets!), helped us unload our luggage and then parked the car for us. The hotel is beautiful,... More

This hotel has been my favourite for a few years now, the rooms are always exceptionally clean and good space, the location is perfect, the staff are always friendly and helpful, I honestly cannot fault it, highly recommended - please note the restaurant is not part of the hotel, its ok but very expensive, there empty tables tell the tale.... Granted, we booked an economy room, but it looked great on the picture. We were given a room at the top of the stairs (4th floor) with no window and an extremely slanted ceiling, which made it look like we were sleeping in a dark box. Outside ON the roof was a running engine (airconditioning?) which made it feel like... More

I just got back from my trip to Bulgaria. On May 2nd I stayed in Nessebar and I chose Saint Stefan Boutique Hotel because it was located in the heart of the old city of Nessebar. I went to Nessebar with a group of friends to discover the old city (as I love old cities), to take some pictures and... More

Traveling off season, we paid a very low rate for a clean room with a large bath and a balcony opening to the Black Sea. The hotel is between the old and stunning St Stefan Church, the Roman Theatre, cobblestone streets with Bulgarian Revival homes, and the sea. Only complaint is that we weren't told we had to order breakfast... More
