It was our wedding anniversary, a sunny weekend, in a beautiful place, surrounded by native forest, good food and different activities that we could do there. So, what happened? I was exhausted. I couldn't sleep between those "paper walls". The night hours passed by with the couple on the room next door snoring and coughing and early in the morning,... More

The location is very nice as there is a small creek exiting into the sea, making a nice pond with a pleasant current to and from the sea. It is a small, clean surfing beach. People were taking classes and every single person of any age ended up surfing after a two hour class. The hotel has kayaks, massages, gardens,... More

The camping area is good (sand, no grass), near the river and the sea. Good bathrooms and plenty of showers and restrooms. Guests from the camping area have access to all other areas in the resort/hotel, including the restaurant, bar, pool, TV room, spa, games/movies/activities for kids etc. The rain forest and mangroves (with specimens endangered) are at your fingertips.... The room was very nice, the service was excellent and it was a beautiful location. However I would say this is definitely more of a family place... kids EVERYWHERE, and what a great place to take kids. So this is not a criticism, just a warning to couples! One minor criticism is that the walls of the rooms are thin... More

If you want to be in touch with the natural rain forest, including her nice view, freshness and small sea creatures, go further on this adventure. Of course, take care with the sun and crane-flyes. Its not aluxury resort, but has all you need.

Couldn't really find the fitness gym and the spa was pricey, also not a lot of services at the spa either. Breakfast was amazing and always changing up, the cleaning service was amazing to the point of hanging up my coat and placing away my shoes. The spot is very beautiful and very full of nature and wildlife

This resort is great for families and bird lovers. Lot's of activities for all and a great Beach and surfing. Food was very good, considering this resort is a long way from any major city. Atmosphere was good and staff very welcoming. Breakfast was one of the best we had in Brazil, but if you have travelled to Brazil all... More

A small oasis. This resort has class, very simply and elegantly designed, we had excellent food in the Taloba restaurant, good gym, WI-FI, beach club, swimming pool, tennis court, what more do you need? Our main attraction was the bird life, and we were not disappointed, got good photos of several endemics incl. the Sombre Humming Bird, Black-cheeked Gnateater and... More

The premise is well kept and the boardwalk is interesting. Rich in birdlife and fantastic beach front. Decoration is simple and rustic. Some outdoor facilities seems to require maintainable. The Taloba Resturant offers excellent food. A great place to rest and relax.

We had three nights of free time between business meetings - we decided to spend two of these nights at Itamambuca. I stayed in a little cottage and it was very cute. A stay at this resort will not be for Five Star Luxury comfort, it will be for the relaxing and enjoying nature and birds. The bed was comfortable,... More
