The best thing about this hotel is the service and the bar where the barman is excellent. My room backed away from the traffic so didn't suffer from noise. The A/C is a little old and a bit difficult to set a comfortable temperature. Room size was very good and the staff are helpful. Location is soul-less with a large... More

hotel itself is very nice, clean and some of the staff also speak some English. the staff were friendly, helpful and informative. Evening dining and breakfast are located just to the side of the front door. Large shopping mall and supermarket a 5 minute walk behind the hotel, other shopping/dining/drinks a bit further away, hence the OK location from the... More

I am a frequent business traveler. Very disappointed after my stay in this hotel especially because of the Wifi. The complementary Internet speed is 512K. If you would like to upgrade it to 2MB, the hotel will charge you BRL 25 per night. What a joke! This is 2015, decent Wifi connections should be included in the normal room rate.... More

One of the better options in Sorocaba. Conveniently located for transportation and right next to a large mall. Rooms were OK, breakfast so-so only. Biggest negative is the R$25/day charge for "fast" broadband. C'mon, we are in 2015 -this should really be part of your service!

Dear Sir, Thank you for your comment and we really wish we could have corresponded better to your expectations. We forwarded the observations about the breakfast to the responsible for the restaurant. About the internet, we freely offer 512 kbps and we have another available, of 2mbps, which is charged R$25.00, in case the hotel guest wants higher speed. We... More

I had better expectations after reading several reviews. However, I was very disappointed during my stay. The main problem was the noise in the room as it has a metal ¨window¨ that allows the noise to enter. You hear all the noise of the highway all day and night long. This was terrible, could not sleep at all. I do... More

Very nice hotel, nice room and very clean. It seemed a small apartment with a small kitchen included. The room was very spacious and the hotel was very close to a nice shopping mal with good stores and restaurants. The breakfast was so so, not many options but ok, it was included in the hotel. In the overal, it was... More

This hotel is bad, as everything in Sorocaba. Must say, that the hotel is better, then Sorocaba park, for example, and one of the best in the city, but it doesn't mean, that Trans America is a good! No no no!!! It is expansive and surely without any reason, the breakfast is disgusting, almost nothing to eat, internet is so... More

Well situated in a safe area with a shopping mall 2 minutes walk. No real lobby and the bar in the evening had no life. Clean enough but no frills in the rooms. I would stay again but will ask for not main road side as noise from traffic is an issue for me.

Stayed here on a business trip so I did not need it to be upscale. Rooms were clean, bathroom / showers good, firm but comfortable bed, lots of desk room. The Transamerica hotel is among the best hotels in Sorobaba, but it is dated and lacks modern amenities. The staff and customer service is first rate - and what the hotel lacks in modernness, the staff more than makes up for.....
