I am a paulistana and I have travelled to several countries and have stayed at the same type of hotel/inn: based on houses, very well located, run by families, few employees. With that in mind I decided to know this pousada in S. Paulo, my home. The only thing to remark is the good location. It seems that they have... More

I stayed at this pousada upon recommendation of a friend -- the common areas of the pousada were very charming, full of character, beautiful. There was a desk open 24/7 who spoke English, and were very helpful. There was a PC in the reception with constant access, which was very convenient. The breakfast and the dinner at the pousada were... More

The location is good near to shopping streets and not far from Metro station and it is a safe area. However, the email communication was erratic during booking process with long delays to answer basic questions. Also, the huge increase in rates for the World Cup (June- July 2014) was not really necessary but this is not the only property... More

Hello Michael, We're sorry about the problem with the communication during the booking process. We had a really big demand for the world cup season and, unfortunately, we also had a problem with some employees quitting in the same time. Also thank you for the information about the sheets. Because of the same problems with the employees, we had just... More

We stayed there for a mix of business trip and family holidays. Unlike other places in Jardins, it's not too expensive and it's in a great location! Rooms are a bit basic, but breakfast is very good and everyone is friendly.

I hesitate to give this pousada an average review. The staff was quite helpful. Breakfast was really nice, with made to order omelets. The lobby and lounge area was charming. BUT, when it comes to the absolute basics about what a hotel in the center of Sao Paulo should deliver, it comes up lacking. The bedsheets were too small for... More

This is a cute boutique hotel located within about a ten minute walk from a metro station with a variety of restaurants along the way. We thought the included breakfast was quite good. The lunches and dinners were good too, although we thought a bit on the expensive side. The bed was comfortable and although the room was quite small,... More

We are not fussy travelers and we often stay in very basic, non luxurious B & B's when we travel as we are out and about most of the time. Two things are important to us though, comfortability and cleanliness, of which the rooms in Pousada Zilah was neither. The rooms are really disappointing and reminds of a cold and... More

We stayed here in June for one night, and it offered us everything we were looking for in terms of accommodation in Sao Paolo. The room was comfortable, and we had a whole balcony to ourselves. The room stayed nice and dark, but there is street noise at night due to being close to a major road (only downfall). The... More

Very satsisfied with everything, we had a small beroom but I have no idea how other rooms size are, but we were happy; very clean, stylish and great breakfast! If you plan to stay longer maybe consider a bigger room! The staff is very friendly, the place is attractive and clean from outside and inside, here details matter, the people who... More

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
