One block from the Trianon-Masp subway stop on Avenida Paulista, close to the Museum of Art, grocery store right across the street, and in a relatively safe neighbourhood. The hostel itself was great, staff went out of their way to help and the breakfast was good as far as hostels go. I would definitely recommend it!

The only good thing is the location! Stayed one night and got attacked by bed bugs!!! Didn't look like anyone else was staying there except the family who work there. Terrible hostel. Do not recommend this place. Can find better for cheaper.

I stayed here one night in March. The location is very good, walk distance to the metro station and Avenida Paulista. The hostel is well equipped, with shared room to watch movies or simply chat with other travelers. The bathrooms are clean and well equipped. The personnel is kind and available to suggest place to visit and other things. I... More

I staid there about a month and it's completely horrible! They sell a service that they don't have... They want take care of your life, bathroom are never clean, you have no privacy, walls are so thin that you are able to listen everything that's going around. Really poor rooms very small and tight. The owners are really a joke!... More

we lament so much to read this kind of comment coming form a guest who stayed 4 months here not one as he is mentioning, he was staying most of the time alone in a doublé room and we never recieved any complain from his during his stay. More

Staying in Bela Vista

Neighborhood Profile
Bela Vista
Known for its Italian cantinas, Bela Vista is the place to go for great pasta. Also called “Bixiga”, the area is an important cultural part of the city, with the bohemian and the religious costumes of its inhabitants on full display. In August, the large Nossa Senhora Achiropita party fills the streets with a variety of Italian food and music. You can experience the liveliness of the neighborhood walking through the antiquities fair at Dom Orione Square or visiting the “Brazilian Caminito”, a version of the Argentinian street complete with colorful buildings. Bela Vista is also home to the traditional samba school “Vai-Vai”. Buy a ticket to a rehearsal and get a taste of what Carnival is like.
