Holy hell, where did all those mozzies come from?? I think staying this hostel would be sweet I'd you were able to get one of the smaller air condition dorm rooms. Unfortunately we got stuck with the big 13 manner which did have an interesting layout but got ridiculously hot in the nights. The fan did nothing more than to... More

I had a four bed dorm. The rooms are ok and clean, the beds are good. Unfortunately you couldnt lock the door but they got lockers outside of the door. the breakfast was ok and the employees very nice. The style is nice aswell but it can be very loud at night in the yard. Unfortunately they offer a airport... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in a private room with bathroom. The room was small but perfect for us. The hostel is located close to the metro, restaurants and bars. It's difficult to see the hostal from the street, so look closely. The staff is super friendly with good tips. Big kitchen and a bar. We would definitely come... More

Quaint little hostel in a good area of Sao Paulo and very close to the metro station. Unfortunately the signage is not clearly viable from the street, making it easy to miss at first. The hostel has all the amenities travelers would need. However, our 4 bedroom room only had a fan, making sleeping quiet a challenge in the Brazilian... More

This is the best hostel where I have been, talking about comfort, logistic and design. During the time I expent here the bar most of the time was empty, maybe cause the expensive drinks. At a lower price I consider the social atmosphere would be better although it was ok. Recommended to sleep ;) The best bed and ammenities I... More

Beautiful hostel with a nice style. The kitchen is big so you can cook easily. Beds are made by the owners, and they are hudge, I really appriciate that. The staff is nice and helpfull. Good location next to the subway and Vila Madalena neigbourhood.

I simply can't say anything bad. The location is great - very close to villa Magdalena which has the best nightlife and art, plus easy to get into other areas for different sightseeing. Everywhere is spotless and the showers are amazing - hot with great pressure and lots of space. The rooms are new and smart - each bed has... More

I always have been skeptical about staying in hostels . I have never been to any until I came to stay at Citylights. I had planned to stay one night and I found myself staying for more than 2 weeks. I have to say i felt like home away from home, the place is clean, its located near most tourist... More

I've been in São Paulo before and I always stayed in top rated hostels in the city, and I can tell, CityLights Hostel has the best environment for travelers, always clean, staff super helpful, nice common areas, comfortable beds and rooms, nice showers, quite good breakfast and amazing music. Located blocks from Faria Lima metro station and the best bars... More

Staying in Pinheiros

Neighborhood Profile
Exploring Pinheiros, a neighborhood known for cozy restaurants and cafes, you will notice a youthful energy. Several cultural centers and institutes surround the area and even its main church, Calvário, hosts a traditional Brazilian “Festa Junina” - a celebration with traditional music, dance, and food during the months of June and July. On the weekends, residents gather at Benedito Calixto Square, a loud and crowded area where people enjoy live music drinks alongside the antiquities fair.
