Only stayed here for one night and for work, but it was great. Much needed bed had a duvet which was fantastic. Bathroom was a little dated but very clean and the jacuzzi bath was great. Didn't have long to try out the hotel, but the room service was excellent. more

Room service for just two coffees in the afternoon took over an hour and two phone calls only to arrive without any milk as specifically requested in Portuguese and English. I stayed in SP for a week and a half during Nov. The Intercontinental is in the beautiful jardins district, very safe and full of good restaurants and some fun bars...You can go walking around the district at night to go to a restaurant or a lounge and it is perfectly safe.
