The hotel is a 5-star hotel but the walls are so thin that I keep hearing my neighhours talking. Friends who stay in the hotel same period experience the same. Otherwise, all amenities and furnishing is just like another 5-star hotel. Location is also not great, unless you are working in the financial district. more

The staff were all friendly and helpful. All of the desk staff and many of the bellmen and waiters speak very good English. I was upgraded for free to the club floors. Was in Sao Paulo on business in June 2004. Stayed at the Intercontinental for two weeks. Full marks for everything. Breakfast was excellent, service was impeccable and room was luxurious. The receptionists were exceptionally friendly and helpful. What more can one ask for? more
