Hotels in Sao Paulo are crazily expensive. So if you are a business traveler with a ~ USD 200 per night limit then this is your hotel! This is my first stay here and I can already recommend it big times. I’m writing this review although I will still stay here another couple of days – very unusual for me!... More

The best part about the Mercure is its location. Located in Jardins on the cross of Itu and Augusta, everything you could possibly want is in walking distance - which is a HUGE plus for Sao Paulo given it's dangerous reputation. The hotel's breakfast is delicious (the one downer: they bring Pau do Quejo to you, there's no station for... More

I stayed 3 nights/a weekend in the Mercure Sao Paulo Jardins Hotel. The best is the breakfast, that was really good. The rooms are not large, but good. The pool is a joke: depth 80cm, you can't really swim at all. Nicely located near Av. Paulista. Wifi worked very well.

Mercure is extremely well-located in Itu x Augusta. The area is one of the most vibrant in Sao Paulo, close to Paulista and fun and rough-on-the-edges side of Augusta but also to Jardins with its upscale and elegant shops and restaurants. Everything is walking distance from the hotel. The hotel itself has very well-equiped rooms and the staff is very... More

This was my first trip to Brazil. The hotel is walking distance to the popular Paulista Avenue, where you can find shops and restaurants. The reception staff was pleasant and spoke English. The room was a good size and is comparable to European standards. It was clean and the wifi worked well. The first two days the breakfast was included... More

It's location, close to Avenida Paulista and Rua Augusta, makes it a good spot to head to meetings anywhere in the city as well as for leisure purposes, in this same area various restaurants can be found. I would have given 4 stars for an expected experience - the positive difference was mainly in the reception and room service -... More

I just spent 5 day in this hotel during my business travel in Brazil. The location is excellent for central Sao Paulo activities. The staff is very helpful and there is always a person speaking English at the front desk. The room cleanliness is average though, floors not well cleaned near the corners, some bed covers stained and worn. The... More

It is Surrounded by very good restaurants. It has a laundry and a bakery on the opposite side and a... More

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
