Was in Sao Paulo for the Rotary International Convention and was thrilled with our hotel choice. Excellently located to amenities and attractions. It was a very clean hotel, in a very safe area and the staff was exceptionally friendly. As a non Portuguese speaker language and communication was not a problem. The room was a nice size, very clean and... More

The location is great, walking distance from malls, restaurants and shopping. It has an amazing view from the top floors. The indoor swimming pool is perfect for the warmer days. The rooms are very comfortable with everything necessary at a very good price.

We checked out after one very cold night. The air con would not go above 16 felt like 10. No sleep. Will not be back. Awful area around this hotel. 3 blocks uphill to the nearest subway. Subway works well. Very crowded trains. Roads very busy - not close to the hotel. Don't eat at the hotel - my steak... More

I travel frequently to SP mainly for business and usually stay at this location. Well priced and VERY well situated. Very close to restaurants, shops, transport and other services. Definitely a good choice.

Hotels in Sao Paulo are crazily expensive. So if you are a business traveler with a ~ USD 200 per night limit then this is your hotel! This is my first stay here and I can already recommend it big times. I’m writing this review although I will still stay here another couple of days – very unusual for me!... More

The best part about the Mercure is its location. Located in Jardins on the cross of Itu and Augusta, everything you could possibly want is in walking distance - which is a HUGE plus for Sao Paulo given it's dangerous reputation. The hotel's breakfast is delicious (the one downer: they bring Pau do Quejo to you, there's no station for... More

I stayed 3 nights/a weekend in the Mercure Sao Paulo Jardins Hotel. The best is the breakfast, that was really good. The rooms are not large, but good. The pool is a joke: depth 80cm, you can't really swim at all. Nicely located near Av. Paulista. Wifi worked very well.

Mercure is extremely well-located in Itu x Augusta. The area is one of the most vibrant in Sao Paulo, close to Paulista and fun and rough-on-the-edges side of Augusta but also to Jardins with its upscale and elegant shops and restaurants. Everything is walking distance from the hotel. The hotel itself has very well-equiped rooms and the staff is very... More

This was my first trip to Brazil. The hotel is walking distance to the popular Paulista Avenue, where you can find shops and restaurants. The reception staff was pleasant and spoke English. The room was a good size and is comparable to European standards. It was clean and the wifi worked well. The first two days the breakfast was included... More

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
