I was set to be disappointed on walking into my room, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Modern furnishings, comfy big king size bed, a roomy bathroom with a large shower, a nice city view, great location, and free wi-fi. What more could I really ask for? The staff was very friendly and helped me a couple of times with... more

I was in in Sao Paulo for about a week on business. I stayed at both the Mercure Jardins and the Quality Imperial Suites (both highly recommended on this site). They are both clean modern accommodations, so either is perfectly acceptable. Each has its own strengths and weaknesses. The Mercure Jardin felt a bit more like a business hotel. The... more

Many middle-budget properties in SP are old, decaying and in dire need of renovation. They look good on the website but they rarely live up to the photos. This hotel is an exception. You'll find the rooms well-maintained, modern, clean and quiet. Location 2 blocks from Avenida Paulista. Hotel is on a corner down the hill. Can be a bit... more

The hotel was very well situated, very close to Paulista, shopping area and bars/restaurants. We felt safe in this area. The hotel was clean, the room on high floors quite. There was a nice lobby and a little bar. The english speakting staff (2 of 3) at the reception was helpful. the breakfast room was small but the buffet was... more

A simple but good quality and excellent value hotel in one of the nicest (and safest) areas of Sao Paulo. Well equipped and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, very friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again on a future trip. more

This Mercure is located 4 blocks far from Oscar Freire where are the most expensive shops and at 4 blocks far from Avenida Paulista where are the head offices of the big companies and shops museums etc and the Consolação metro... more

Sharp secure modern hotel. Room was large and spotless. Furnishings were up-to-date. Wired internet connection. Staff was helpful and fluent in English. The breakfast was excellent. Taxi available anytime I needed one. Some restaurants also have shuttles that can transport both ways. Great for business traveler. Rates were very reasonable. more

This hotel is an excellent location in the Jardins district. Close to Av Paulista and Oscar Freire etc - all in walking distance. The hotel has modern facilities, clean rooms - I booked a standard room and although it was small, it was great for a short stay. The bathroom was very big (in comparison). Good shower. The breakfast is... more
