Clean rooms, well located, fair price (it is low in comparison to other hotels in the area). Paid wi-fi, paid parking (although I believe it is not needed for such a good location). Just a few minutes walk from Paulista Avenue and MASP.

Expedia gave me this hotel as an option. I was looking for an affordable place to stay 1 or 2 nights only. I did not pay attention that they do not offer free internet and to have it I was supposed to pay $15 a day. When I arrived I asked if was possible to have an early check in... More

First of all, when I come to São Paulo, I tend to stay at an hotel near this one (Tryp Paulista). This time I couldn't get a room there and found nice reviews about it here. The stay was a nightmare. They say about free Internet but it's a 3Rd party service. When I reached the room, it looks like... More

The hotel is located just a few blocks from Av. Paulista. The area appears to be safe. There is a lot of police watchtowers around, and several bars and restaurants close to the hotel. Room furnitures looked a bit old, bathroom looked a bit neglected, but I still appreciate the hotel well. Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. General... More

Staying in Consolacao

Neighborhood Profile
Consolacao
Consolação lies between the old historical center of the city and busy Paulista Avenue. It’s surrounded by the fancy Higienópolis neighborhood, which makes it a very diverse place. The nightlife along Augusta Street offers visitors a variety of options to dine, dance and be entertained. Roosevelt Square, Consolação's main meeting point, is surrounded by fringe theaters and has become a popular skateboarding area. Right across the street from the square is the elevated highway known as “Minhocão.” Though it is busy with car traffic all week, it shuts down every weekend and becomes a leisure spot right in the middle of the city.
