This gets good reviews on here but I'm not sure why. I found it cold and clinical and the staff were pretty disinterested. Perhaps it's because they don't care or it could be the language barrier. Either way - I'm staying in the Emiliano next time. more

I have stayed at the Grand Hyatt 3 times as well as previously having stayed at Emiliano and Fasano. The Hyatt offers luxury and excellent value for money. It unfortunately does not offer the best location, as if you have meetings in Faria Lima area it will take you roughly 20 to 30 mins longer than if you stayed at... more

This was a very comfortable place to stay. The check-in process was quite smooth, the room was fantastic (especially that shower!), and the staff was helpful. But you have to search a bit to find the main restaurants for the hotel, which are very nice. However, you will only see other guests there, and you will not get the same... more

I stayed on a business trip in a regular (non-executive) room. The room was spotless, with modern furniture that was really comfortable and a truly excellent bathroom. I have nothing but praise for the staff who were friendly, attentive and extremely helpful with my off-beat requests. more

Paid roughly R650 (GBP 185 / USD 280) for an executive club room which included lounge access. The hotel merely charged R100 extra for a rollaway bed for a 3rd person and this included breakfast / lounge access. For the standard of accommodation offered this was very reasonable. Staff in the Executive Club Lounge were exceptionally good and well trained.... more

I stayed here on business, and although I understand the hotel is a few years old, from the level of service and the condition of the lobby, my room, and the grounds, the place felt nearly brand new. The staff was friendly, courteous, very helpful, and very professional. I had a room on one of the executive floors. One entire... more

We have stayed at the Hyatt Sao Paulo many times. We live in the city but enjoy taking time off at this amazing hotel from time to time. Le Club floors have a personal and first rate service of their own. Bath amenities are first class. The restaurants are among the best in the city, Sunday brunch lets you combine... more

I have spent perhaps 40 nights at the Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo on business over the past four years and it has become perhaps my favourite hotel anywhere in the world - certainly in the top five. The hotel is a beautiful modern building and the lobby atrium area is light and airy .. ... ... but you won't want... more

This modern hotel is an excellent choice we made for a couple of days before a once-a-year cruise our of Santos stopping at Carnival in Rio, among other stops. We had a room high up that was quiet and had a good view. The furnishings were modern and upscale - the shower was fantastic and huge. The pool was excellent,... more
