I arrived, as most Europeans do, in the a.m. early, complicated by the fact it is a national holiday. the staff was lovely, warm, helpful and the service perfect, down to an egg-white omelette. If you are, as I am, a fan of modern architecture this Starke-wonder is something to behold... I'll return again with the wife! more

Fabulous room, most comfortable bed. Great lobby bar with good drinks and bar food and an ever changing crowd: business people, models, ladies who lunch or whatever the Brazilian equivalent is. We stayed at the Fasano in jan 2009. The hotel is very very hip and trendy. The rooms are very spacious the staff very attentive.
