This hotel may have been very nice 5 - 10 years ago. But poor maintenance has taken its toll. The room they gave us had a very bad strong smell of cigarettes, besides being a non-smoker room! We just couldn't stand that so we asked and we were sent to another room. In the new room there was no double... more

1) The first room given in this case was room number 1022, which is a non-smoking wooden floor superior category with view to the front of the Hotel. The second room given after the request to change rooms was room number 1128, which is also a non-smoking carpet floor superior category with a view to the front of the Hotel....

The hotel is a fairly good value for money - cost, for us was, 250 Reais per night including breakfast and parking (booking.com) The good: 1. Friendly, efficient personnel. 2. Flexibility (early checkin possibility, late checkout, etc.) 3. Bigger than average room with sofa, large desk, small kitchen area with sink and cupboards (no cooking facilities), small balcony 4. Air-Conditioning... more

1) The Hotel could not identify the room number in this situation, but according to our records, our beds are professional Hotel type beds and have been maintained and checked every three months, and any defect is submitted to immediate change. 2) Call atempts in the area where the Hotel is located are charged after 20 seconds of duration, once...

This is one of my favourite hotels in Brazil, the rooms were well priced (around $100 US per night) and spacious, the hotel is modern with good food. The district is that the hotel resides in is comparatively safe and only a short walk from local Sunday markets and great restaurants. For the meat eaters you are directly opposite (arguably)... more

Business hotel, practical, no thrills. The japanese restaurant did not exist and the gym was both badly maintained and unclean. Breakfast was very good as the general hotel service. more

This was a very good hotel and excellent value. We were able to get an industry rate/discount which brought it to about £40 per night. This was a much better rate than the posted 400R per night. The staff was very knowledgable and helpful. The hotel is well furnished, very clean and modern enough facilities. The crews for KLM, Swiss... more

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Golden Tulip Paulista Plaza. I stayed for business and pleasure from Oct. 30-Nov 4th in an executive room on the 22nd floor. The room was a decent size, with a desk, couch, and mini-kitchen area. The views, however, were phenomenal. Also, it was very quiet on my floor. I didn't hear the traffic,... more

I stayed at this hotel for four nights. It is conveniently located in the business district. The property is well maintained and rooms are equipped with a desk large enough to work as well as enough lights There is a free (wired) internet connection. The buffet breakfast was also great. A little bit busy in the lobby and may take... more

I stayed at the Paulista Plaza along with two other persons in January 2007. We each had our own room. The hotel is part of the Golden Tulip international chain. We easily booked rooms at $70 per night on the company’s website which permitted cancellations in the event of a change in our travel plans. Overall, we thought the hotel... more

I don't think that I can say enough nice things about my visit to the Paulista Plaza Hotel in Sao Paulo in June 2006. Extremely well located on Alameda Santos in Jardim one block off of Palulista Ave., the hotel boasts around 380 rooms all with high speed internet access, a extremely comfortable bed, marble baths and a pantry kitchenette.... more
