This was a very good hotel and excellent value. We were able to get an industry rate/discount which brought it to about £40 per night. This was a much better rate than the posted 400R per night. The staff was very knowledgable and helpful. The hotel is well furnished, very clean and modern enough facilities. The crews for KLM, Swiss... more
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Golden Tulip Paulista Plaza. I stayed for business and pleasure from Oct. 30-Nov 4th in an executive room on the 22nd floor. The room was a decent size, with a desk, couch, and mini-kitchen area. The views, however, were phenomenal. Also, it was very quiet on my floor. I didn't hear the traffic,... more
I stayed at this hotel for four nights. It is conveniently located in the business district. The property is well maintained and rooms are equipped with a desk large enough to work as well as enough lights There is a free (wired) internet connection. The buffet breakfast was also great. A little bit busy in the lobby and may take... more
Great hotel with really good facilities. We arrived early and the yallowed us to check in at no extra cost. The staff were brilliant and very helpful. The price of this hotel on line is so good. along with the location and breakfast this hotel is definately one to visit in Sao Paulo. Rooms are larger than average, the bath... more
I stayed at the Paulista Plaza along with two other persons in January 2007. We each had our own room. The hotel is part of the Golden Tulip international chain. We easily booked rooms at $70 per night on the company’s website which permitted cancellations in the event of a change in our travel plans. Overall, we thought the hotel... more
I don't think that I can say enough nice things about my visit to the Paulista Plaza Hotel in Sao Paulo in June 2006. Extremely well located on Alameda Santos in Jardim one block off of Palulista Ave., the hotel boasts around 380 rooms all with high speed internet access, a extremely comfortable bed, marble baths and a pantry kitchenette.... more
I stayed here for 5 nights and I was pleased with the service. The rooms were recently renovated with minibars, internet access, and granite bathrooms. The in house patisserie was a nice touch and the buffet breakfast was very good. This hotel is in a great location, right across the street from Baby Beef, a great churrascaria, and a 15... more
I loved this hotel - the room rates were very reasonable and the rooms are big. I had a sitting area and a small kitchen-type area with a fridge etc. Best of all, most rooms have balconies and if you are on a high floor, you get stunning views of the city. Breakfast buffet was good too. It's a four... more
We could find no reviews of this hotel but decided to book based on a great Expedia price and past experiences at other Golden Tulips in Europe. We got exactly what we expected -- clean, modern rooms, Internet access, a fitness center, a pool, and an awesome breakfast buffet (complete with Western and Japanese breakfasts). Safe business area, close to... more
