Check in is fast. People treat you well. All very professional. The rooms are great, clean and spacious. Location is also a differential. The bathroom had some issues like a shower knob breaking off the wall. But, overall, pretty good. Breakfast is good, but too expensive.

This former 5* Sofitel in SP has seen better times before being downgraded to Grand Mercure. Rooms are spacious but maintenance is on the low side. Nice service, good location, friendly staff, room and bath room always clean and nice. The breakfast and specially the fruit juice are great to start the day with full batteries. Close to the Ibirapuera park, bid green area to relax and do some exercise, in such a big city as Sao Paulo.
