The hotel is fairly standard, nothing special. It has a good location, approx. a 15min walk Oscar Freire and Alameda Lorena, where you can find all the trendy shops and some very cool restaurants. If you fancy longer walk you can continue up Oscar Freire to Augusto and take a walk up to the famous Avenida Paulista, the main financial... More

Average is the right word and rating. It is well located, the rooms are ok. Wi fi is below par. Employees are friendly, but if this is meant to be a business / international hotel, then their language skills are to low, as in most of them seemingly did not even understand simple sentences in English

Hotel is ok; but not close to means of transportation as I had thought. Cabs right in front of the hotel though. If you plan to walk, this hotel is not close to anything. Even though rooms are non smoking I could feel the smell of cigarette right next door.

Dear SeanBsb, Thank you for sharing your comments. I hope that if you have the opportunity to come back in Sao Paulo you will choose our hotel Mercure Sao Paulo Pinheiros again. Will be a pleasure to help you about the transportation because we are really closed to many funny places (Avenida Paulista, Rua Oscar Freire, Vila Madalena). Sao Paulo... More

The worst service I had received in years. No one speaks English or Spanish, not even the front desk clercks. I had to come down and ask for someone to pick up the dishes from the room service and another guest had to translate to them! Last night i left outside the door my breakfast request and this morning, after... More

Thank you for your comments, I am very disappointed to read that, you had a very bad experience in our hotel and it is our responsibility to assume and do our best for you and all our guests. About the communication part, I am amazed because many of them speak English, at least a basic conversation. I have to check... More

The room was a pretty typical hotel room. When I first checked in my AC was not working. It was fixed promptly after I brought it to their attention, but it still seemed as though the systen was toward the end of its lifespan. Rooms have a switch that requires the room key to turn on the electric. Each time... More

Positive: -Fast check-in/check-out -Quiet bedroom -Pool, although it was too warm sometimes for my taste -Gym, small but at least they had one -Location: Good for Faria Lima, Vila Madalena, Av Paulista and Sumare, all within a short cab drive. Yet I walked to Av. Faria Lima where the office is most days. It took 25-30 min usually and is... More

Stayed in this hotel since it was close to where I needed to be. Nice entrance and lobby area. I was a bit disappointed that when I arrived my room was not ready and I had to wait some but it was only 30 minutes. My room was nice and your Brasilian standard of small albeit functional for one person... More

This was my first trip to Sâo Paulo and I was a little worried about my safety after (perhaps unwisely) reading so much about the dangers of the city. The people organizing the trip booked me and two colleagues into three separate rooms at the Mercure Pinheiros. This was a good choice as I had few worries about my safety... More

I was placed in this hotel as I was on business. Staying in Pinheiros

Neighborhood Profile
Pinheiros
Exploring Pinheiros, a neighborhood known for cozy restaurants and cafes, you will notice a youthful energy. Several cultural centers and institutes surround the area and even its main church, Calvário, hosts a traditional Brazilian “Festa Junina” - a celebration with traditional music, dance, and food during the months of June and July. On the weekends, residents gather at Benedito Calixto Square, a loud and crowded area where people enjoy live music drinks alongside the antiquities fair.
