This has become one of my favourite hotels in São Paulo and I am very pleased to see how much it has improved since my last review a year ago! The reception has had a lift-up and is now very modern and appealing! All receptionists are always most kind and can tell you everything about São Paulo. The Mercure brand... More

The rooms can vary but all the rooms I have stayed in have comfortable beds, compact bathrooms with powerful showers and a nice seperate 'walk in closet'... More

Great location, helpful staff, decent breakfast. 'Gym' is not adequate (plenty of others in the area) and the hallways are old-looking - not a nice welcome getting off the elevator. Rooms are excellent, though.

The hotel's check in time is 12 noon. We got there around 9am and was told by the gentleman at the front desk that we should come back at noon. The room would be ready by then. Not a problem. We came back at exactly noon and the same person told us it would take at least another 40 minutes... More

As from 31st August the reception has been demolished and now is under construction. So you enter the hotel trough a bypass which includes a temporary reception. According to sign in elevator the new reception is going to look modern but it doesn't state when work is going to be finished Great change for an old fashion reception

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Jardins
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
