Good hotel in a good safe location. I was here during the World Cup for the England game, and it was a pleasant stay. There were some fantastic bars and restaurants in the nearby area, which we drowned our sorrows in after a dismal England performance!

In simple words Ibis Paulista is a no frills business class hotel in a convenient location. Pros: - Very polite and helpful front desk personnel - Good internet connection - Late evening at the bar includes free-flow hot soup for light supper - Metro line within walking distance Cons: - Breakfast is very bare basic (eggs, ham, fruits, coffee, juice,... Ibis has the advantage of standard services. On this one I liked breakfeast room space better. Other very positive point is about location. It is walking distance from subway station and if you want explore nightlife by taxi it will not be pricey.

Just the location is fine during day time..Concerning the rest..avoid it .Better stay directly at any hotel at Paulista Avenue. The staff is friendly . They have renovate it, but we found not restrooms available in the reception area. We arrived early in the morning and it was difficult and uncomfortable to wait for 5 hours to enter the room..... Great location, right in front of a metro station at Paulista Avenue, close to trendy Oscar Freire Street and MASP museum. We arrived very early in the morning, but front desk was super helpful and got us a room in about half an hour. The rooms are just like any Ibis, small but new and clean, and this one also... More

Supposedly this was going to be good value for money in São Paulo. However, the whole experience was terribly disappointing. Check in lasted 20m. I was offered a membership card which would allow me to check out at 14:00 instead of 12:00. I accepted but no evidence of it was found when I checked out. The payment system is crap:... More

Staying in Jardins

Neighborhood Profile
Located just below important Paulista Avenue, Jardins is the junction of four smaller neighborhoods: Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano. It is an upper-class area, offering a variety of things to do, including shopping, museums and parks. The neighborhood is well known for “Oscar Freire”– the most luxurious street in the city, packed with high-end boutiques. In Jardins you will also find a trendy museum, São Paulo Museum of Image and Sound (MIS), which people often line up for hours to visit. If green space is what you're after, take time to relax at Trianon Park, a refuge in the heart of Paulista Avenue.
