So I booked this hostel thinking it was a 'Party hostel', but there wasn't much of a party happening when I was here, however it was very quiet so I won't blame that on the hostel. Anyway, fairly clean hostel, the staff were friendly but spoke very little English. Luckily Sao Paulo was quite cool when I went because there... More

Really great place to stay in Sao Paulo but not a party hostel so much like was described. Good location for shopping and transport. Wifi a bit patchy but good by south american standards. Breakfast (the few times i saw it) is better than average. The staff are really great but a lot of them were new so didn't know... More

All I can say about this wonderful place is that all you may expect of a good traveling experience starts here... Between all the peculiar characteristics of this place I would remark gentleness, friendship, good prices, reliable staff and rooms, and full of fun and nice people!!!!!

Beats Hostel left a very positive impression on me. The staff is very friendly, the location is very good, and the hotel is simple but has everything you would need. Overall very good quality for money!

The staff is absolutely awesome and so nice!!! Best experience ever. Definitely order something front the bar, they make a great drink. It's in a good location too so every thing is accessible especially the close avenue paulista. It also has the party vide if you are looking for that!

The staff was very willing to help and everything, from the bathrooms to the sheets, seemed well cleaned. Both of the guys in the reception could speak English and one of them, the Dutch one, was very helpful giving me a map and pointing places I couldn't miss to visit in the city, good places to eat and the best... Staying in Bela Vista

Neighborhood Profile
Bela Vista
Known for its Italian cantinas, Bela Vista is the place to go for great pasta. Also called “Bixiga”, the area is an important cultural part of the city, with the bohemian and the religious costumes of its inhabitants on full display. In August, the large Nossa Senhora Achiropita party fills the streets with a variety of Italian food and music. You can experience the liveliness of the neighborhood walking through the antiquities fair at Dom Orione Square or visiting the “Brazilian Caminito”, a version of the Argentinian street complete with colorful buildings. Bela Vista is also home to the traditional samba school “Vai-Vai”. Buy a ticket to a rehearsal and get a taste of what Carnival is like.
