It was a while ago me and my sister set off to travel the world, our first destination was Brazil, our first city Sao paulo. We stayed in a hostel for one evening that had continuous loud building work outside it. In the morning we made a reservation through hostel world for Gol. When we arrived we were greeted by... When I stayed here during the World Cup it was surprisingly quiet, not very good if you're a solo traveller, but a good nights sleep. On one of my 4 nights here I was alone in a 6 bed dorm and the most full my room became was 5 of us. The International airport bus service stops right outside and... More

Amazing staff and location! I lived there for a month and I can't wait to go back ! The bar is awesome and I've met some wonderful people there. Everybody is always up to something. The subway is very close to the hostel and the bus from the airport stops right in front of it. Couldn't think of a better... More

I stayed here with a couple of friends, and chose it because its location and reasonable prices. It is located one block away to Paulista Avenue and shuttles to the Guarulhos airport stop just in front of this hostel. By the time we stayed at Gol, there were not so many people so we did not have to queue for... More

The people were really nice there and I had no problems to sleep. I shared room and bathroom and they were perfectly clean. It's close to one of the most famous avenue in São Paulo and the Underground as well.

It's all about the game here - FUTEBOL! This hostel is located in the downtown Sao Paulo. The Avenida Paulista is only one block away. The closest subway station, the Tríanon-Masp station, is only about 300 m of safe walk. The hostel is located across the street from one major hotel. I had a bit hard time finding the place... More

Staying in Bela Vista

Neighborhood Profile
Bela Vista
Known for its Italian cantinas, Bela Vista is the place to go for great pasta. Also called “Bixiga”, the area is an important cultural part of the city, with the bohemian and the religious costumes of its inhabitants on full display. In August, the large Nossa Senhora Achiropita party fills the streets with a variety of Italian food and music. You can experience the liveliness of the neighborhood walking through the antiquities fair at Dom Orione Square or visiting the “Brazilian Caminito”, a version of the Argentinian street complete with colorful buildings. Bela Vista is also home to the traditional samba school “Vai-Vai”. Buy a ticket to a rehearsal and get a taste of what Carnival is like.
