We really enjoyed the time in this hostel. Sure there is things how can be improved but really, it was super organised. They were friendly and good English speakers. Clean rooms, clean sheets, good lockers with electrical outlet, a great and cheap bar with a free caipirinha every day ! The bad thing is about the bathroom... Not really good... More

Was greeted by friendly staff and other great guests. Other reviews might be right in saying that it is not extremely well furnished, but it's great value for money and an extremely fun time! Would definitely recommend for someone looking for a sociable hostel.

Dixon, I can talk for all the staff here at Limetime when I say it was awesome meeting you! We hope you come back soon so we can party some more at Augusta street and have some more Catuaba straight from the bottle haha. More

Room was good, the showers are timed so if you like long hot showers, go somewhere else. The staff were super friendly and helpful, probably the most sociable staff I met in my three months of travelling. The location is decent, walking decent to the metro, which takes you anywhere. They also seemed to have social things/parties every night.

A nice and clean hostel. Very friendly staff. People living here where also nice and we had a really good time. It is in a good neighborhood also. The bar was ok, not really a party hostel but we might have visited in the wrong season. They had good wifi and a lot of information about Brazil and São Paulo.

This was a nice hostel in a great location is SP. The service was good and really helpful attendants. The metro is really close and also other attractions in São Paulo are within walkable distance. Was a good experience overall.

I stayed there about a week. It's a nice clean hostel, freindly staff and quiet at night. Down side is the breakfast, just a coffe or tea but it goes with the resonable price for Sao Paulo hostel. Overall good times!

I'm Brazilian and from my point of view, this is the worst hostel I've been in Brazil(among six Brazilian states and dozens of hostels). Just few blocks from there I found others with all included (lockers, breakfast, towel, hot water, etc.) for plus R$10 only. PS.: This hostel doesn't provided in the price: lockers, breakfast, towel. In addition, the shower... More

Thanks for your comments. Best or worst, it really depends on what you're looking for. For us a hostel is a social accomodation. You can get a more amenities elsewhere (for more money of course) and stay in a boring environment... Just like a hotel. That's not us. We offer a decent stay with fun staff and guests, free caipirinhas... More

Can't complain about the facilities/infrastructure. Ultra friendly and caring staff. The hostel is set on a great location close to restaurants, supermarket and Paulista Ave, with great leisure options.

I spent one night in SP with my boyfriend, we were saving money so LimeTime seemed to be a good deal. The price is good, the hostel is interesting, but the bedroom is disgusting. We took two places in a shared room (8 beds). The room smelled really bad and was also dirty, the bed sheets were old and didn't... More

The property had good basic rooms and shower facilities, the location was okay but not near the historical centre. I think the biggest let down about this hostel is that it advertised itself as a party hostel with things happening every night, however when we were there it was extremely quite with only about 6 guests and the bar was... Staying in Bela Vista

Neighborhood Profile
Bela Vista
Known for its Italian cantinas, Bela Vista is the place to go for great pasta. Also called “Bixiga”, the area is an important cultural part of the city, with the bohemian and the religious costumes of its inhabitants on full display. In August, the large Nossa Senhora Achiropita party fills the streets with a variety of Italian food and music. You can experience the liveliness of the neighborhood walking through the antiquities fair at Dom Orione Square or visiting the “Brazilian Caminito”, a version of the Argentinian street complete with colorful buildings. Bela Vista is also home to the traditional samba school “Vai-Vai”. Buy a ticket to a rehearsal and get a taste of what Carnival is like.
