I lived in this property for about two weeks for a professional visit to Sao Paulo. The hotel is clean and nice. They even adjusted my booking upon my request and it was very kind of them. The only thing I did not like is the absence of closets in the room.

If what you need is just to have an spot where to sleep and get a shower, you will be OK. The space is very clean and minimalist. There is no room phone, wifi available. The silence is quite good. It is an express hotel. Breakfast is good enough.

We had a nice stay at the Ibis. The rooms are tiny, but very comfortable. The shower has good water pressure and the bed is comfy. The area feels very safe. There are lots of restaurants, malls and movie theaters close by. The subway is next door. The staff were very helpful. They don't all speak English but would always... More

The good news: the hotel is very close to a subway station and it is very affordable. The bad news: the rooms are about the size of a small cruise ship's cabin - you will bump into someone staying in the room. The bathroom is integrated into the bedroom - if you are claustrophobic, don't stay there. Also, the rooms... More

The most important item about this hotel is its location: right next door to a subway station (yellow line), Paulista Ave., Augusta St., Higienópolis quarter (across Consolação St.) and the best movie theatre in town (Belas Artes). The hotel itself is an Ibis style hotel: small room but clean and with most conveniences (good internet, shower and toilet separate --... More

Right at the edge of Paulista, great location, immediately next to Paulista station to get on the metro. Pros: Clean, cheap (relatively), well located, friendly staff, 24 hour mini-store in the lobby. Cons: Very small room, currently partially under construction, the lobby is a bit torn up and there's only 2 elevators (though they did warn me, well after I... More

The strongest asset from this hotel is its great location. From a walking distance you can go to the metro station, supermarkets, restaurants, shopping malls, cinemas, museums, bakeries... it is in the heart of Sao Paulo. There are some vegetarian restaurants close by (it's called GOPALA - ask for directions at the reception). The rooms are tiny but clean and... More

Staying in Consolacao

Neighborhood Profile
Consolacao
Consolação lies between the old historical center of the city and busy Paulista Avenue. It’s surrounded by the fancy Higienópolis neighborhood, which makes it a very diverse place. The nightlife along Augusta Street offers visitors a variety of options to dine, dance and be entertained. Roosevelt Square, Consolação's main meeting point, is surrounded by fringe theaters and has become a popular skateboarding area. Right across the street from the square is the elevated highway known as “Minhocão.” Though it is busy with car traffic all week, it shuts down every weekend and becomes a leisure spot right in the middle of the city.
