although the hotel shows some age from the outside, the room is surprisingly well-maintained, and delightfully cosy. It is spacious, and impaccably clean, airy, and most importantly, flat-screen TV, and fast wifi access making our stay more cosy and convienent. The staff was helpful (suggested we take our laundry across the street instead of doing it through the hotel to save money) and the breakfast was good. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was a very nice experience. Walking distance to the subway. On the day time was very safe to walk there, but take care in the night. We would absolutely recomend it. more

Everything was superb during our one night stay. Clean, great bed and the best breakfast we had in Brazil. Sweetest papaya ever and cafe quality cafezinho. A terrific value at $67 for a double.
