Had traveled to Sao Paulo on business and my office was in Paulista Avenue. I found this hotel reasonably good. It is a little expensive as compared to many other hotels on the block, however still neat. The rooms are ok. The Pool is nice. One definite area of improvement - The staff at the reception does not speak english... More

Well, I´ve been to this hotel for three days to celebrate my wife´s birthday. The location is very very good. Just 4 blocks away from Paulista Avenue, with plenty of good restaurant, bars and shopping options nearby. We arrived a bit early for the check-in (about 2 hours early) and the front desk clerk told me there was nothing he... More

I stayed for a couple of nights at the hotel and was disappointed. It was expensive for what you got and the room had clearly seen better days. The location is ok except for at night where the ladies of the night can be found meters from the front door. The staff speak little English and seem to be not... More

Location is Ok, not far from Ave. Paulista and downtown. Breakfast is basic, but Ok. Rooms are not so spacious, but not small, and very quiet. Matress are too soft (probably old) what can be a problem for some people. Parking is free, what is very convenient at that area. There's no free wi-fi internet, what is bad.

Staying in Consolacao

Neighborhood Profile
Consolacao
Consolação lies between the old historical center of the city and busy Paulista Avenue. It’s surrounded by the fancy Higienópolis neighborhood, which makes it a very diverse place. The nightlife along Augusta Street offers visitors a variety of options to dine, dance and be entertained. Roosevelt Square, Consolação's main meeting point, is surrounded by fringe theaters and has become a popular skateboarding area. Right across the street from the square is the elevated highway known as “Minhocão.” Though it is busy with car traffic all week, it shuts down every weekend and becomes a leisure spot right in the middle of the city.
