That was the only hotel left in Sao Jose that night. Staff was pleasant, room was clean but getting a bit old and tired. The hotel looked a bit old fashioned and in need of refurbishment. Breakfast buffet offered good choice. For $74 a night, it was ok.

Breakfast and parking are paid extra at the Ibis (a mile away), so you get better value at the Hotel Nacional Plaza Inn for about the same amount of money if you go to a "Suite de Luxo" room as breakfast is excellent and free, valet parking is free, the hotel has a swimming pool and the room is better.... My room was good, even being next to the elevator was quiet. The TV was not new, but works properly. The bathroom had a good size. The breakfast was ok. The hotel offers car parking. The wifi conection was so good.
