Don't be mislead by the pictures- this is NOT a modern hotel at all. It's a qusi-refurbished building from the 1980's with hardly any significant changes other than freshly painted walls (albeit with horrible colors). Floors and beds squeak and show obvious signs of wear and tear - very noisy overall. The room reeked of smoke despite being a non-smoking... More

Overall, the hotel is in a good location for easy access to the highways or downtown. It has a very nice staff that is great with working with you to please you. I am American and can speak only limited Portuguese. The staff was most pleasant with me and did speak a little English, and so we communicated. However, I... More

When I'm traveling I want fast high speed internet but while i was there, the internet was slow, the videos and games were stopping from time to time. I end up having to go to Campinas somewhat often for work and this Ibis never really disappoints, because I always know what to expect. I've stayed there at least 8 times and have never had any problems with noise or the rooms themselves. It is an Ibis, so you know what to expect from the rooms and service. It... More

A good hotel for short stays. Breakfast is not included in price. It's affordable and in a central location, not far away from downtown Campinas. Close to shuttle bus stop to commute to and from the airport in São Paulo. Can get very busy at check out time. Rooms are very small.

I just finished a 3 week business trip at Ibis Campinas. It was pretty much what I would expect from Ibis. The room was basic with a fairly comfortable bed. I was originally situated on the side of the building facing the Mercure, which was annoying because there are no privacy blinds and I had to keep the blackout curtain... More
