We stayed at the Ibis in Campinas for business. The staff was very helpful with a handful of English speakers. The only complaint I had was that it was a bit lax for business. I received a fax several days after it had been sent with no explanation. Other than that I would highly recommend this as an excellent place for a limited-Portuguese speaker.
