I stayed at the Sofitel in May for four night on business/vacation. I got a great rate on line... but you get what you pay for I suppose. The front desk clerk who checked me in was very good and spoke great English. The room was good. Sound insulation from room to room very poor as noted elsewhere here... babies... more
I've stayed at this hotel for a congress. The internet was not working. The safe, broked. The breakfest was very poor. No room cleanning until 11 am! And to complete, they tryied to charge me a fee of 200 bucks for the visit of 2 friends of mine who live in Florianopolis. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.... more
I stayed at this Sofitel 4 nights. The last one was terrible. A noisy guest by my room spent all night talking and watching TV. Very nice hotel at a very good location. Room is comfortable and beautiful with great view. The price is a little expensive, yet internet cost extra US$12. more
I had a chance to stay at this hotel on Dec 29 for one night. Great location, wonderful rooms (great mattress!) Staff is helpful and multilingual. Just what you can expect from a Sofitel hotel.
