So this is a pretty standard hotel, nothing fancy. Great for business travel, but I do not recommend it for tourism. Instead, I would suggest finding a Pousada near the Lagoa da Conceicao. There's a lot more going on in that area at night and in general. The only bar / club close by to this is El Diablo Lounge,... more

Very nice location, close to everything. The room was Ibis stile, common, but hard to go wrong. The breakfast could be better. more

We stayed at the Ibis Florianopolis for six nights and we really liked the hotel. The room was clean and had a descent size. The breakfast was okay. But what we didn't expect was that the diner buffet would be so good. We ended up having dinner at the hotel almost every night. (But I must admit that Florianopolis'city centre... more

what a great deal... the hotel was close to interesting areas and centrally located.... far from the beach. Breakfast was very good and the staff super friendly. I will stay there many moore times. the prices are a tru deal... i stayed also at the Savarin hotel nearby for similar rate... however that was disastrous... Ibis is the place to... more

Ibis Florianopolis is a great value in that city. Although it's not close to any beach, you can easily drive from the hotel to any part of the island. more
