This was the 3rd leg of our W Cup tour and the hotel was very good compared to previous. Room 1906 had a city view which was poor compared to the front of hotel but being up high it was quiet. Room fixtures were nothing special but it was clean and internet was ok. Breakfast was good and bar area... More

This is a very good hotel - staff at reception are helpful and breakfasts are great. When I arrived I was given a room on the fourth floor - poky and incredibly noisy from the street traffic ---- had to shift or leave! Landro at reception provide a re-modelled room on the 12th floor - much better and quieter. Overall... More

I was on the second time in this hotel on a quick business trip last week. What can I add a second review? I had again a good impression of the accommodation, the cleanliness and quality of sleep. This time I couln't try the breakfast (early flight). But one thing I must highlight: The hotel lobby has an interesting space... More

We have traveled to seven countries (not counting this trip to Brazil) around the world and this stay rates at the bottom of the list. We have traveled to Canada, Iceland, Austria, Germany, Australia, Portugal and Mexico. I am not counting the multiple hotel stays we have had here in the USA. We arrived to find they could not locate... More

Let me start by mentioning the best surprise so far: The meat at the lunch buffet was amazing. Tender, soft and very tasty - mile high above my expectations. 10 points! My room is somewhat outdated, but appears to be clean and relatively well-kept. The hotel is in a renovation process anyway. The layout of my room was OK; good... More

I stayed there only a few hours, basically to spend the night, in a very short trip to Porto Alegre. It seemed to be a little far from the center, but with great views to a park and the Guaíba river. The apartment itself is spacious but a little dated, with no cable TV and ageing furniture. On the other... More

This hotel was one of the most disgusting hotels I have ever stayed at. This is one of those places that a person is brought to after being drugged....and you proceed to get raped and killed at. Upon checking in my hotel room did not have a working AC, the shower was full of mold and stains. The sheets has... More

The good: location - by the Parque da Marinha, a nice place for a morning walk, and very close to the Praia de Belas Shopping Center; price - it offers competitive prices compared to the alternatives; service - friendly service, decent breakfast, free internet. The not so good is that the apartments are ageing and maintenance is not that good.... More

Old and tired hotel. Dust and mold everywhere. Avoid it if you can.

Room was comfortable and featured a small balcony with some very nice city views. Room can be noisy - even though I stayed on the 8th floor and on a side room, I could still hear the street traffic. Top floor has a gim and a small swimming pool - worth visiting to check out the view. Breakfast was ok,... More
