As another reviewer stated this hotel is being refitted at the moment. I didn't realise until The taxi pulled up that this used to be the Blue Tree Towers where I'd stayed before. Part of reception was partitioned off but everything was signed well and didn't cause too much disruption. I must congratulate Julio and his team on a great... More

Despite being promoted on Radisson websites worldwide as a "new 5 star hotel", the Radisson Hotel Porto Alegre is an old hotel, currently undergoing major, incredibly disruptive renovations. Photos and text on Radisson's websites are hugely misleading, basically amounting to false advertising, and I am appalled that the hotel has been so dramatically misrepresented and promoted in this way. Nowhere... More

Imagine yourself arriving at a hotel late at night after a hard day of nonstop meetings and realizing that the warm room and comfortable bed you are expecting are not there.... Terrible situation. At last the front desk attendant found me a place in a nearby hotel.

We arrived at the Radisson after a fun-filled evening during the World Cup. We were quickly checked in, and our room was spacious. Most importantly the bed was comfortable. I was not bothered by the sound of the air conditioner. The restaurant was nice and our food was good but it took about an hour to finally be served to... More

I recently traveled to Porto Alegre in Brazil for the World Cup with 2 friends. In addition to hiking their rates during the Cup, the front desk told me that for a third bed, it would cost an additional R$250 per night, and that I should pay up front for the entire 3 nights on the spot! I told them... More

Average hotel in a nice place. The rooms are quite big and nice. The staff are really friendly. The only negative it's they dont have a gym (even do they said they do), you have pay USD 10, to get in to a near one (realle small)

First off, check-in took forever. In fact, almost anything the front desk does, takes forever. I don't know if it's a slow computer of lots of procedures. The hotel is in a very quiet residential neighborhood. The four times I needed a taxi, I had to walk about two blocks where there is a grocery store and some restaurants. Also,... More

Disappointing visit. I just stayed 2 nights and it was too much. First of all I was close to the elevators and they are too noisy, is I didn't sleep well. Second the AC is too noisy, so you need to stop it frequently. And third their internet is so slow that you can't even use it. After a long... More

Very disapointing visit - a long way below the usual Radisson standard. I booked online using points, however the hotel had no record of my reservation. Fortunately I had the confirmation email with me, however, there was a clear lack of understanding regarding the points system, as the employee wanted to know what rate I was going to pay. The... It was my first experience in a Radisson property. It seems that this location was recently renovated and is well located in a nice neighborhood. The room is quite simple but modern and functional. L´Occitane ammenities in the bathroom and a nice scent of Blue parfum gives the place a spa sensation, quite relaxing. Good wi-fi connection, a nice work... More
