The Coral Tower is a both a 10 minutes walk to the bus stop on Iparanga ave to the PUC (the university is a 25 minutes bus ride on this route) and to the Praia de Bellas shopping centre. They served an excellent variety of food during breakfast, including scrambled eggs. All the front staff was very helpful, although not... More

Depending on your travelling needs, Coral Tower Express might be a good option in Porto Alegre. The hotel is in the nice Cidade Baixa neighbourhood which has plenty of bars, eateries and nightlife, and isn't far to the south of the historic heart of the city. The rooms are fairly small and basic but they are clean and relatively modern.... More

I visited Porto Alegre during the World Cup 2014 and stayed for three nights. The hotel is located in the middle between Estadio Beira Rio and the Mercado Publico. You can reach both by foot but it takes a while. + friendly and helpful stuff (mostly not english speaking) + modern clean room with mini-bar and a quiet air-conditioning -... More

I have chosen this hotel because it was near the place where I was going to a meeting. It seems that the rooms were renewed some time ago and the furniture are ok for the price. However I arrived late at night and the sheets seemed a little dusty, like they haven't been changed for a while. It was August... More

The hotel is quite simple, nothing bad to say about. At the same time, nothing good. Nothing about design or interior. The breakfast is average. Staff doesn't speak english, let's say at all. Surroundings are just residential buildings. As an advantage - you can find many nice places to eat around - pizzeria near at the corner, Pampa burger, some... More

3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2012

I've been at this hotel for one night in July 2012, on a sponsored trip. This is a hotel with simple facilities, without any refinement. The room was small but clean and organized. The location seemed not very good because the region was not calm and close to downtown, but this was not a problem for me. Were you to... More
