The Teewinot lodge is the more upscale lodge located just feet from the lifts and main plaza. Its still quite basi, but hot water and heat along with boot heaters makes it comfortable. The resort lacks diversity of dining choices and styles of food such as healthy choices. Everything is quite hearty, tasty, but not so healthy. Only one place... More

Came to go snowboarding, got the room and lift passes package for a good price! Recommend getting a room looking at the mountain and on 2nd floor. We where in the Targhee lodge. The rooms are comfortable and get the job done, you'll be spending most of your time on the slopes! (I'd hope) PROS - Right on the mountain,... More

This is just an incredible resort and I can't believe it's taken me this long to get up and ski it. Obviously they get a ton of snow but the great thing is the terrain. The resort has a very simple layout which makes getting around easy. The runs tend to be long and varied and there are some terrific... More

Had reservations for a room here but they moved everyone to town due to renovations. After seeing the lodge and being moved to condo closer to town we were actually glad. The drive was up to the lodge was lovely ...we enjoyed seeing the back side of the mountains. But once at the top - kind of glad we didn't... More

Stayed one night...no ice anywhere in the building we were staying in...had to go three buildings behind us. Creepy little place they put us in (one of the oldest in the resort)..Windows did not open and there was no air conditioner Took a LONG time to get there from GrandTetons. The road up to the resort is a winding, switch-back... More

After seeing YEllowstone Park, we stayed at Alta, Wyoming (Grand Targhee Resort) for two days. It was a long trip from Yellowstone to Alta (over 3 hrs) but the end result was good. Got to go on a nature trail with a free coupon from the resort, paying $15 for the chairlift at the top of Fred's Mountain. It was... More

Very basic rooms, which are very outdated. No 'in room' facilities at all which I guess is typical of these resorts, where you are expected to buy everything there. The chair lift to the top of the mountain provided great views of the Tetons and valley. The night we stayed with our two small children ( ages 4 & 2... More

My son and I stayed at the resort to use as a base for hiking. We stayed for four nights and got in on their "stay 3 get 1 free" deal. It is 4 miles from the nearest town, but is self-contained, and has everything from a good restaurant to great activities to make the resort a good destination for... More

In the fine print, this hotel claims a 14-day cancellation policy in order to opt out of a reservation. They charge your card for the full amount when you make the reservation. I was worried about this but decided to give it a try (how bad could it be?) and went ahead and reserved a room for two nights. Upon... More

This resort may pop up in searches for Jackson Hole. It is not close to Jackson Hole, Grand Teton NP or Yellowstone. You are a full hour over Teton Pass away from Jackson and then farther onto the parks. So if you chose this resort - be sure that it is because you want to be here and not those... More
