Stayed one night at this location for our second annual ski trip for two days. Went with the loft room and larger capacity easily accommodating 4 people and possible up to 6 depending on ages. We love the convenience of the lodge and pay for it. We were in room 288 which was the top floor and the corner room,... More

The Pines in Driggs, Idaho, is a great place to stay if you're skiing the fine powder at Grand Targhee Resort. It's amazingly inexpensive, but very clean. The owners are kind and accommodating, and the hot tub is ... ahhhhh. You can catch the shuttle bus up to the resort or drive yourself, about 30 minutes. I liked staying in... More

Truly a ski experience can't get any better than this Ample powder, small happy crowds, super-super-nice and happy people... Trails may not be as long and terrain not as extreme as Jackson but it is an awesome and enjoyable place to ski! Great kid care and instruction too! Makes everyone happy!!! XiaoPengie likes this!!!

Fun place to ride, with lots of different terrain. We stayed right at the bottom of the hill. Way less crowded than Jackson Hole, less lines, more untracked snow. Had the place almost to ourselves. Beautiful views of the mountains!

My husband won a travel voucher through his work. I asked him where would he like go and he said Wyoming. It had been a life long dream of ours so we quickly looked online for flights, hotels, & rental cars. We found out quickly that Jackson Hole is an expensive place to visit but after talking with our travel... More

Outdoors is beautiful! Indoors, not so much. The room was a little old, a little dingy, and not super clean (we were looking for a sock and found someone else's dirty sock and some garbage under the bed. Gross.) The rooms in the lodge are good size and the balconies are nice. They have potential...just don't go in expecting a... More

I booked all hotels online. Hotel review stated it was near south entrance of Yellowstone. After hiking in Grand Tetons all day we drove to south gate to get direction(no gps) Found out hotel was at least 2 hours thru the mountains past Jackson. Ate cost of this booking. Booked a cottage in Grand Tetons National Park at an outrageous... More

I was disappointed with the room. In much need of an update. The altitude also got to me, so if you are not used to higher altitudes keep this in mind. We actually checked out a day early. Only positive was the fried green tomatoes at the restaurant.

Imagine, if you can, being a guest at an outdoor wedding with a backdrop of a meadow in full bloom, the greenest trees, the bluest sky, and mountains all around. That's what we experienced at Grand Targhee. Very, very beautiful. Each guest received a complimentary lift pass, which is the best gift ever. We rode up and walked down through... More

Targhee Lodge is kind of a dump. No air conditioning in any rooms at resort, so if there is unusually warm weather, the box fans just can't pull cooler outside air well enough into the rooms. Whole resort could use some updating, Teewinot rooms were better. Spend the few extra dollars.
