Grand Targhee is definitely a sweet spot to ski. Great terrain and no lines. It is fair to say that Targhee Lodge is far from luxurious. It is literally a motel-style lodge at the base of the hill that was probably built 30 years and not much has changed since then. Having said that, we knew this was the situation... More

After hearing from friends what a great place to ski, we decided to visit and stay at the Grand Targhee Resort. Although the skiing was incredible: no lines at the lifts, deep powder, lots of area to ski, friendly staff, the accommodations leave a lot to be desired. Staying at the lodge is extremely loud and the Targhee Lodge itself... More

My wife and I spent 6 full days on-site at Grand Targhee in early March, 2014. The weather and snow were great, the amenities very nice, clean and affordable, and the people were very friendly and accommodating. We plan on hopefully going back next winter!

We stayed at Grand Targhee on their 4 night ski & stay package in January 2014. We stayed in the the newer lodge, the Teewinot ($185 per night, $50 bucks more per day, but worth it), Rooms were up to date, clean and a decent size. No crowds, beginner hill is great for the kids, blues were true blues, and... More

We have a season pass so we ski here throughout the winter. Skiing is great with new powder frequently adding to their base. They have three quad chairlifts (one for a beginners hill), one double and a magic carpet. Lifts open from 9 am to 4 pm and you need to get here early for decent parking. They have two... More

We traveled to Grand Targhee from Teton Village for 2 days out of our 4-day trip to Jackson Hole. Let me tell you, it was worth the 1-hour bus ride. The terrain isn't nearly as gnarly as Jackson, but there is a much friendlier atmosphere, more local feel, less crowds, and at the time when we were there, higher snow... More

This was hubby and mine first time cat skiing. I was scared and intimidated but the guides eric and scoop (and driver mike) made me relaxed, and i had the best experience skiing/boarding in my life (and ive been around). Not to mention the terrain was phe-nom!! I highly recommend this adventure of a lifetime if only once in yur... More

Spent a night at this location the Targhee Lodge. First for my wife and I, and we were exhausted from a 10 inch fresh powder day of skiing while waiting for our room. There are several lodges here and I stayed at the less expensive one. I will admit for the price ($185) it was a little less than expected.... More

We have skied grand Targhee Christmas week for years. It was the perfect place for a young family. We would bring bags of groceries up and found the room in Sioux lodge perfect for our purposes. But very year the lodge has become more rustic and less comfortable. One year the fireplaces, balconies kitchens and enough seating for everyone in... More

As part of the Cheyenne Ski Club we booked a 3 day stay at Grand Targhee on 1/12/13 through the marketing department. We all stayed at the Souix Lodge which is just behind the base lodge of the ski area with adjacent access to a heated outdoor pool and spa facility. Great place to stay if your seeking first tracks... More
