I should probably preface this review by saying that we visited in Feb 2015, in the middle of one of the worst winters on record, so the famous Targhee pow was hard to come by... We stayed in Jackson for two weeks, and to be honest the lift lines and freeze-thaw conditions made us re-think our options. For $100 you... More

Stayed at the Sioux Lodge at Grand Targhee for the IFSA Jr. NorAm Freeskiing Championships. Accommodations were clean and ample and could not have been more convenient. I loved the vibe, friendly employees, skiing and evening food & beverage options. Can't wait to come back!

We took out family and met up with a cousins and all stayed at the Sioux Lodge at Grand Targhee. The rooms were comfortable, and roomy. It was spring break for our kids and we have not had good snow in Utah this year, but Targhee was amazing! Our kids didn't even want to come in for lunch! They skiied... More

The staff the hotel, and hill are excellent. The food in the Trap bar was less than satisfactory. We ate at the Trap Bar twice on two different occasions December 2014 and March 2015. The service was good the food was not.

I was fortunate enough to ski the backside of Targhee off Mary's and Peaked. Bright sunny day. Plenty of powder skiing and outstanding views. I obtained my equipment and guide through Yostmark Backcountry Tours. My guide Matt was great. He gave me a run down of the snow conditions in the area and allowed me to select the one that... More

First trip to Targhee. Spring skiing was great fun, though we only got to sample a small portion of the available terrain. We experienced enough to guarantee a return trip. Our pooch was first to stay (officially) in one of the rooms in Teewinot lodge, so hopefully Targhee will continue the pet-friendly policy so we can do a return visit.... More

after you are done paying 130 bucks for lift tickets and fightingh the crowds at jackson... take the targhee express and experience a country-club-like atmosphere at targhee. is was a secluded paradise exceptionally connected via shuttle systems.

Lots of fun staying slopeside with the kids for forgotten items and extended lunches. Great lift full of green runs for the beginners and to review skills, and fun challenging runs for int/experts. The ski school staff is phenomenal with the kids, and mine love swimming when the lifts close. Night life is definitely limited, but we go to ski... More

We stayed at the Grand Targee resort, in the Teewinot lodge. Nice big relaxation room downstairs to play games and to eat with a crowd. Ski in ski out was great. The mountain it self has great terrain for the whole family. They had music for ski après on Friday and Saturday and a band on Saturday night which brought... More

Great family oriented ski resort with phenomenal snow. Great terrain for everyone. Fun runs for the kids, exciting runs for the experts. Staying slopeside is fun. Trap Bar is great. Branding Iron is overpriced for the quality, but you can always get a pizza at Wild Bills or hit Driggs for some excellent dining. We love Teton Thai and the... More
