Grand Targhee is a beautiful, quiet resort. We stayed for several nights prior to a beautiful wedding there. Our kids loved the activities at the resort. While not upscale, Targhee provided a comfortable stay for our Elderhostel group. Friendly staff, reasonably good food and some neat hikes make this a good off-season spot. Some of the furniture and carpets are a bit worn but overall the place was clean. (A prior TripAdvisor review had me worried, but the stay was pleasant enough.) more

Excellent value! This side of the Tetons is much less crowded than the Jackson Hole side. This resort was very clean, had especially happy staff, great food and beautiful rooms. We will be back. more
