Checked in, but our room was not ready (after 4pm). Girl at the front desk did offer to call when things were available. Used the pool which was nice. Big pool and warm hot tub. I'm not sure if the walls are done in the pool area, but it looks like unfinished drywall. The rest of the facility was beautifully... More

We booked this hotel for our family because we were visiting Yellowstone and doing lots of Jackson activities, but wanted to stay outside of Jackson. When booking, I was asked if I wanted a mountain view or river view room. Since we have a house on a lake, we opted for mountain view. Well, "mountain view" is actually the side... More

This was our second time here, and both were great. As an older establishment, the rooms are larger than we often see. Not overly luxurious, but better than average. Clean and friendly. We covered our motorcycle just as the rains hit, so were "forced" to stay local at their bar/restaurant. We probably would have anyway because of our first visit.... More

Nice and clean hotel with great view of the mountains and the river. Upgraded to a newer room with balcony in the two story building. Absolutely worth the extra $20. The restaurant onsite has good food with decent prices. This is not a five star hotel, but a very good value. Would definitely stay here again.

Don't stay at this hotel unless you want cold showers and cold water in the sink for washing faces. My sister had to shower in the pool area shower (without a door). They would only comp our breakfast, but we didn't have time to eat it.

This hostelry south of Jackson is a complete delight: friendly, capable, helpful staff from front desk to restaurant, to maintenance; beautiful flowers and landscaping; good restautant for dinner and breakfast. Spacious room with marble bathroom, double sinks, upscale amenties, comfortable in every way. This is a real find.

We showed up late and they were kind enough to stay past hours to get us a room. The room itself was extremely nice and clean, with all the Wyoming styling one could wish for. In the morning the staff was understanding of our situation and let us stay on the premise until our ride came. Most hotels couldn't care... More

My husband and I have been to the Flying Saddle 3 out of the last 5 years. Anytime we go to Yellowstone or Grand Tetons, we always stop in for the night. Its a beautiful, quiet place, right on the river. Only about 30 minutes or so from Jackson Hole. It has a restaurant and store/gift shop on the premises.... More

I was on the road and it was getting late as I arrived in Alpine. The Flying Saddle is located about 1/4 mile away from the road I cam in on, so,I didn't see it. I asked the local gas station folks (risky, I know) if there were any "nice" hotels nearby. They steered me to the Flying Y. This... More

Found this place on Trip Advisor. The positive reviews are right on. We stayed here on our way to Grand Tetons and a return trip from Yellowstone to SLC. The grounds are well maintained and inviting with sitting areas with small waterfalls and lots of flowers. The resort is located next to the beautiful Snake River with mountains all around.... More
