I've stayed at the Flying Saddle three times now over the last 5 years and come away with the same impression every time. Nice place - could be great. The staff is friendly and helpful and the grounds are immaculate. I just wish that they paid as much attention to the rooms. I've stayed once in the more modern 3... More

We were looking for a reasonably priced alternative after several visits to the tourist trap of Jackson Hole. Don't get me wrong we love the town, the western flair, the mountains that surround it but how can the Hampton Inn justify $379.00? So i searched the internet and came across the Flying Saddle Resort. We are staying in a cabin... More

Flying Saddle is a beautiful resort, situated next to Snake River, and close to Jackson Hole. The rooms are very nice, clean, and the pool is big enough to really play. Buffet breakfast (although not included in the price) was very good, and a great way to start off a day of hiking. There is a separate building for laundry,... More

The Flying Saddle was very nice - room was comfortable, clean. We only stayed one night on our way to Yellowstone, but enjoyed the breakfast buffet the next morning ($10 each). Pool area was nice too. I had made the reservation via hotels.com and they had set us up with a King room and a rollaway because there were no... More

The photos on their website are deceiving! They must have renovated some rooms but not all. We had a room that had a king sized bed and the room was huge and seemed clean. It had one of those gross, old bedspreads on the bed but the room itself seemed clean. UNTIL we went into the bathroom. The tub was... More

One of six king cottages. King bedroom, living room and bath. Clean and comfortable. Seventy feet from Snake River. Its a log cabin style room. They were very quiet and the king bed was firm and comfortable. Restaurant has good food and of course you are right there on Palisades reservoir.

Checked in, but our room was not ready (after 4pm). Girl at the front desk did offer to call when things were available. Used the pool which was nice. Big pool and warm hot tub. I'm not sure if the walls are done in the pool area, but it looks like unfinished drywall. The rest of the facility was beautifully... More

We booked this hotel for our family because we were visiting Yellowstone and doing lots of Jackson activities, but wanted to stay outside of Jackson. When booking, I was asked if I wanted a mountain view or river view room. Since we have a house on a lake, we opted for mountain view. Well, "mountain view" is actually the side... More

This was our second time here, and both were great. As an older establishment, the rooms are larger than we often see. Not overly luxurious, but better than average. Clean and friendly. We covered our motorcycle just as the rains hit, so were "forced" to stay local at their bar/restaurant. We probably would have anyway because of our first visit.... More
