A well located motel just off the highway outside Alpine and approx 30 miles south of Jackson Hole as we did not want to pay the exorbitant prices in Jackson. We stayed on a ground floor room in the motel building and found the room spacious, light and nice outlook with a small outside terrace with a small table and 2 chairs.... The cabin we stayed in was very roomy, well maintained with comfy furniture, an electric fireplace, flat screen tv's and a refrigerator. Everything was clean and modern and we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay here. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The steakhouse had great food and service. We would stay here again.

With our trip messed up by weather and road construction and nothing but grief and 0 customer service from Expedia, who I will never book through again, the staffed helped us through and treated us like royalty. We had dinner the first night in their restaurant and not being very hungry we only ordered appetizers... the waitress immediately dropped the... More

We decided on the Flying Saddle Resort in Alpine because we refused to stay in Jackson and pay $150/night for a basic motel room. That was a very good decision. Our dog friendly room was in the older section of the lodge and a bit dated but still clean. The lodge was next to a river and the view was... More

Having read the reviews on trip advisor we decided to stay in Alpine, having flown in from SLC. We were very pleased. Nice and clean, quiet, good restaurant and away from all the traffic in Jackson Hole. Had we known how nice this spot was we would have stayed there the whole time instead of moving on to Jackson Hole.

First off let me say that the desk clerk via our phone contacts was very helpful and friendly. And I've read the other reviews and had to wonder if we were talking about the same facility until I double checked the name and address. We were running late after leaving Yellowstone and the drive took longer than we expected so... More

We stayed one night on our trip to SLC there, nice rooms, nice location, very quiet - river just below the resort. Nice and relaxing seatings at the river. Restaurant and breakfast is good - worth a try, we had ribs and salat for dinner, both were good and we enjoyed dinner. Possible to have dinner outside. sportsbar is also... More

We chose this hotel because it was out of the hustle and bustle of Jackson Hole and a lot cheaper. The local is perfect on the Snake River. The hotel offers a great viewing of wild life. The grounds have several chairs set up facing the river and at early morning or late evening you can spot a deer or... More

Some times its best to ask a local where to stay, so glad we did. This is a really great place not found through AAA. Great room with a balcony. Beautifully care for grounds, so much pride taken in the details. The restaurant has a great menu with something for every one. So glad we didn`t stop in Jackson. Hope... More
