The room rate, room size, cleanliness, etc. were all top notch but there was no hot water for a shower or bath after a very long day traveling. The front desk said, "oh, the whole room block is on only one heater." That explained it. The restaurant was better than average with a great staff. more

Stayed here rather than the expense of Jackson Hole. What a wonderful find. Although 39 miles from Jackson Hole - the ride was great - with much of it along the Snake River. The rooms are excellent - as is the rest of the property. You want a perfect Hot - Hot wing - that still has flavor - get... more

We stayed here last minute and were charged about USD 140 for a room with two double beds. The resort is nice and clear but Alpine is a very small town so the hotel is more like a stopover. Free continental breakfast was average. Reception staff here are really fantastic though and go out of their way to help you.... more

We really enjoyed staying at the Flying Saddle Resort. It was a little drive and I thought I had lost my mind about this long drive but once we got there everyone was so nice and it was peaceful & quiet. The food was good and the service too. Thanks, Justin & Partick for your service while we were there. more

I stayed her on the way up to Yellowstone. It was my first experience of an American 'Lodge Hotel' where the bedrooms were a walk away from the main building ! {We don't have 'em in the UK} The bedroom was large, clean & had all the mod cons, including internet access. The food was OK but not gourmet but... more

This is a very nice hotel. The property has recently been redone. The pool and jacuzzi are great and there is also a tennis and volleyball court so I guess it meets the basic definition of a resort. But don't get too excited about the basketball. It is just a single hoop at one end of the tennis court placed... more

We stayed here 3 nights while visiting Afton, Wy and Grand Teton National Park. It was a nice quiet hotel away from the crowds in Jackson. We had a river view room which was beautiful. The room was spacious, 2 sinks, one in the bathroom, one outside, lounge chair, and table, bath and body work soap and lotion, the wifi... more

Stayed one night as we were on our way to the National Parks to the north. Staff was friendly, room was big and comfortable, nothing intrusive from adjacent rooms, good food at the restaurant. Best unique attribute was the back yard of the motel, .. with grass, trees, and birds galore, situated on high ground over the Snake River with... more

We spend 2 nights there to visit Teton National Park. It is quite a drive from Alpine to Jackson (about 33 Miles) but absolutely OK. In high season you pay much more for accommodation in pricy Jackson or you drive down to Alpine and stay for less. This is your choice. We had a nice room, clean, with view to... more

When I made my reservations over the phone I was told this hotel was only 15 minutes outside of Jackson. After driving and driving we finally reached our destination. It took us almost 45 minutes. I expressed to the lady behind the desk that I was disappointed that we were so far away and asked to cancel the reservations so... more
