Gorgeous views from the hotel but a lot of things require significant improvement. The sheets were moldy and rather unpleasant to sleep in and breakfast is a serious recipe for a food poisoning. You can simply not leave the food out in the 35 degree heat, even if you put your yogurt on a few cubes of ice. All in... More

Excellent stay! completely different then all chain hotel which are a big chunk of the options in Rio. Staff very helpful in different ways, exceptional english which improves greatly for the suggestions provided to explore the city. Refined boutique in its own way, secluded from the noisy but lovely city. Has all the check boxes (wifi, balcony, hammock, pool, breakfast... More

Its a nice place.. looks more like a pousada than a hotel. Room are charming and have a great view of lagoa and cristo. positive : privacy , view, charming, location(because of the view) negative: location( you always need to call a taxi), extra services.

A small, cozy hotel with great tropical forest, birds and a great view of Christ, the Redeemer. Pool, jacuzzi and massage in a peaceful corner of bustling Rio; and a team of people making sure you are well served; and all through a modest rate. I'll be back with my wife and friends.

Most brides in Rio go for the big hotels, but I was looking for something different and I'm happy I found it. Beautiful cozy hotel in a green area far from the noise. I even forgot I was in Rio. I had a really nice day together with my mom and bridesmaids, we got our hair and makeup done there... More

Clean and charming little hotel with the most helpful and accommodating staff. Raniere, the Hotel manager is fantastic and speaks fluently many languages. Great breakfast with plenty of natural choices and the views are just breathtaking!! Transportation to and from the hotel is easy and inexpensive. I wouldn't consider any other hotel when going to Rio de Janeiro. 5 STARS!!!!

This hotel is absolutely fabulous. It has six rooms and all have breathtaking views on Christ the redeemer and sugarloaf mountain. The rooms are very clean and look exactly as on the website, so no surprises at all. It is very close (5 minute taxi ride) to Ipanema and Leblon and also Copacabana (10 minutes taxi ride). If you're looking... More
