It is a beautiful hotel although in a restoration process. I didn`t use gymnasium and pool. Well placed in Barra, nearby mall, restaurants, other entertainment and beach. Easy to move, located in a great avenue. Amenities are good. Problem: the noise at room ... sounds incredible seems that you are inside the street! My room key didn`t open in the... More

The location is good if you are planning to stay in Barra. For those that would like to go to traditional places as Copacabana and Lapa everyday, it is not a good option, you will need a cab for everywhere. It's close to the beach and has a nice breakfast, the problem to me was the air in the room,... More

Don't be fooled by fancy wording of the website. The hotel calls itself an "all suites" hotels. A suite in most hotels means a bedroom and a living room, Not here, a suite means a room with a bed, maybe a small kitchen area, a two seat sofa and a table and two chairs. They also advertise a wide "shower/tub... More

This hotel looks great on paper, but there are issues. Some rooms are nice, some rooms are not. I was lucky with a spacious suite with modern furniture, but the room was not clean. A colleague's room next to me was not so good. It was much smaller, dated and also not clean. The wifi internet also had issues. Very... More

Stayed 8 nights in a suite here.it had a kitchen with microwave but no plates or utensils. The suite was large with table for two, sofa and balcony with two chairs. The swimming pool was nice and the gym was well equipped. The selling point to this hotel is that you can walk through the adjoining property and catch a... More

Being in Rio for a conference I basically only needed bed and breakfast.I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel being on a busy 6 lanes(more like 8) main road.We had a twin room which was just big enough for 2 people and suitcases as opposed to the suites which my friends had which was spacious. Pros: Rooms over looked... More

This is promoted as an "all suites" hotel however this is not the case and I had a basic small hotel room which was very disappointing. My colleague did have a suite and it was spacious and would have been ideal for our 6 day stay

Hi stayed in this hotel during the world you day 2013. We were a very large group of young people, and I know that it is not very easy to deal with large group. Instead of it, the staff and the management was excellent!!! Everybody was really kind and nice with us. Especially during dinners, the manager was really nice... More

Although the rooms are rather small it is a comfortable hotel with easy access to the City, but with the building of the facilities and infrastructure for the Rio Olympics a bit chaotic to get there. Breakfast good but can do more with their other meals and rely on guests going across the road to the "Downtown Mall" for meals.... More

Promenade Paradiso is located right in front "Downtown Mall" and has relatively good access to the beach, taking a small boat which crosses "Canal de Marapendi". The breakfast is really good but unfortunately opens only at 6:30 in the morning. The room is quite small but brand new. Hotel staff are ok. The Gym and the swimming pool are really... More
