This hotel is a total rip off or scam with a very bad customer service, i cancelled my reservation 15 days prior to my scheduled arrival and they charged to my credit card 50% approx. $1200 for cancelling what it was not stated at booking.com. Be careful and don't book anything at this hotel !!!!

To start with the good aspects of our stay in this hotel, the location is fantastic and you are within two blocks of everywhere. The staff were also very nice and most importantly the place was very clean. Our room did look a little like it was lifted from a porn set and our aircon wasn't really working. It was... More

The best of the hotel is location, the room was clean, probably renovated, breakfast is complete, friendly staff. The credit card payment was cancelled and they charged me again on the arrival, plus taxes, they probably don't send the online hotel their fees. Cable is il. tapped, has all channels but no info. In general, I could stay there again,... More

The waitress was very very kind . The staff is very kind discreet and helpful. It's a real goodplace where you feel... More

There's something quite fawlty towers about this hotel. The staff were consistent(ly awful) during my stay - not rude or abrasive just slow and incompetent. My ac unit spent several hours steadfastedly refusing to blow cold air into my stuffy room before conking out and pouring a good litre of water over my suitcase on the floor below it. The... More

My rating of this hotel is completely based on the value for money of the rooms. Much of the negative reviews of this hotel are true (if not a little exaggerated), however many of them fail to identify that you can not get a decent room in Ipanema / this area of town for $125 USD per room per night,... It´s a good ubication if you want to go to Copacabana Beach and also to Ipanema Beach, because both of them are near. But it´s a noisy street, because there its a lot of traffic. Also the rooms haven t a very good aislation. Breakfast is good but the place es very small. There is a jacuzzi on the top... More

I (thankfully only) stayed there for one night, before New Year 2013. Location: at the end of Copacabana beach. Three blocks away from the beach. So not too bad in that respect. Room/toilets: not too bad for a three star hotel (if you are not picky), although the room was small. Beware if you've got trouble sleeping with noise. There... More

First, so I am very clear, you must be crazy to stay in this place. We booked this hotel based on location, thinking it close to both Copacabana and Ipanema. When we went to check in, the lobby smelled of urine. We were taken to our room, little more than a closet with A/C that did not work correctly, and... More

Although the location is good, it is not worth it to stay here. The staff is rude and charged me an extra "tax" that wasn't included when I booked with Hotels.com, when hotels.com told me ALL taxes and fees were included. They clearly scammed me and treated us like we didn't know what we were talking about. The place badly... More
