Pros: - hotel is directly at the Av. Atlancica - Copacabana beach - small but nice pool and great views (especially during sunset) over the Copacabana - Rooms are nice, very neat, reasonable size, beds were comfortable, rooms were very quiete (our room was directed to the inner block, but I am sure that rooms directed to the Copacabana (especially... Not impressed. There is only free WiFi in the lobby. The breakfast in the hotel is good. They have a good amount of hot and cold food to choose from. The pool is small and the water is chilly. The room is small. The room does have a mini refrigerator. Make sure to get a room with a beach view.... More

The hotel is directly located on the Copacabana, which we liked. Another good tourist option may be the next bay, i.e. Ipanema. Rooms facing the ocean obviously have a nice view; no balconies. Employees at reception are reasonably friendly and helped organize a transfer to the Sambadromo. Breakfast buffet offers good choice. No egg dishes, only scrambled eggs from the... More

Sorry to repeat myself but I still can't believe any hotel in the world still has the nerve to charge for Internet access. This one not only charges but once you pay for an entire day you can't stay connected for more than 30 minutes. The hotel itself is actually quite good but I refuse to rank any hotel higher... More

Best thing is the location, we stayed on 7th floor and had a great view of Copacabana beach. Room size was ok, and we actually found the staff helpful. We were given a free upgrade upon arrival as there were three of us and any questions we had for the front desk was answered helpfully and in a friendly manner.... More

So I was here back in Nov 2013. Friend of mine recommended because of the location, and went online and check it out, seem like an okay hotel. Upon my arrival, the front desk looks like he was still asleep, I told him I had a reservation, and he asked me for confirmation number, I told him my last name,... More

We (2 adults, 1 infant) stayed 3 nights at the end of December 2013. Cost-wise, we got a great deal via booking.com (especially given that it was just a few days before New Year's Eve). The location of the hotel is spot-on, being right at the heart of Copacabana. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable and adequately... More

Pretty good location right across the street from the Copacabana beach so ideal for beach lovers. Also very close to lots of restaurants in the area, albeit most are expensive as they are all located in the prime tourist area. The hotel rooms are a fair size, modern in comfort with all the amenities of a typical 4-star hotel. There... More

Hotel location opposite beach with restaurants & bars in walking distance. Hotel reception staff understood English but were reluctant to speak English or assist. Restaurant staff & chamber maids did not understand English at all. Bar area and selection of drinks available poor. No tea or coffee facilities in room. Roof top pool water dirty and spa facilities limited. Views... More

We didn't really like this hotel so much. The rooms are quite dated, the swimming pool tiny and dirty. The lifts didn't work on one day when we were there, only the staff lift worked. The good things include the magnificent view from the terrace on the top floor and the location itself. The breakfast choice was good as well
