Yes the location is great and the price is right but 4 of my friends had things stolen from their bags while they were in storage. We would have been better off taking our things into the flavella with us. Do not stay here.

Hotel Toledo is a block away from Copacabana beach, inexpensive (for the area) and has some very large rooms (high floors at back have views). The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included. The downside is that the hotel needs a major upgrade. The carpets are worn, the furniture is stained and old, the beds are lumpy, aircon is... More

I am a bit surprised with some bad review as I had a great time. If you are looking for the Hilton or Marriot you are in the wrong place.. Remember you get what you pay for... people want to pay small and get a great palace. My room was very clean. Even tho I booked a double room and... More

I was hesitant staying in this hotel at first due to reviews. We were on a tight budget. The rooms at first are shocking (Hostel looking) but once you spend one night there you get use to it. We stayed 4 nights. The beds were clean and unstained and no bed bugs I checked everytime. The bathroom was clean and I... More

We arrived here after a Pantanal visit and a long travel (expecting a descent hotel). When we entered the room (202) it was shocking. Wooden floor (which did look old and dirty). Terrible brown fridge with lots of ice in it ( I would not dare to take a drink from it) and a dirty looking bathroom with greenish look... More

I stayed at this hotel for four nights in March 2006, travelling for both business and pleasure. I chose this hotel based on the recommendation from a friend who had lived in Brazil, and she said it would be basic and no frills, but clean and safe and a short walk to the Copacabana beach. I was travelling with a... More
