Found the staff less flexible.. room was expensive almost as copacabana palace where were staying first but then changed (regrets!!!). For such expensive hotel not even internet was free. Late check out option was granted for one hour as a huge favour.. the rooms could have better lights.. heard about their bar but that was too small too more

Fantastic hotel for a sophisticated traveler. Location on Ipanema could not be better. Stores and great restaurants are within walking distance. Shockingly disappointed. Rooms were incredibly small and although bathroom was very stylistic, it wasn't very functional. Focus of hotel is definitely style and it appears to cater much more to the young, hip, Rio socialite crowd that occasionally swing by for dinner or drinks than the paying tourist or business traveler.
