Not a great hotel by any stretch. Small, airless rooms with no character. Overpriced for what it is, and the area is a bit iffy at night. But the service was exceptional, and staff cannot be praised highly enough. Good breakfast as well. More

The hotel is well positioned to the Ipenima side of Copacabana, 2 minutes from the beach. They provide beach towels and an unberalla free of charge, as well as a safe and Ethernet connection also free. Hotel is clean, shower and bathroom exceptional for a hotel in this price range. Cannot beat this location, as you are half-block away from Copacabana beach, and a very short walk away from Ipanema Beach. The metro station is down the same street as the hotel. Overall, a good 3 star if the rate is competitive. I prefer to stay in Ipanema or Arpoador.
